golden rose jolly jewels 115

i must congratulate the turkish company, golden rose, on this jolly jewels collections. the polishes like this are usually connected with indie brands, therefore, hard to find if you are not a polish addict. i got two of those when i was home in serbia last week, and i'm presenting my favorite from this collection, 115. it is such a shame that beauties these don't have names :(

115 is a dupe to china glaze's it's a trap-eze from the  cirque du soleil collection, but i was scared that it would never arrive to serbia so i decided to get this one after all.

i seriously dreamed of having a polish like this, and i also realized that it is weird that my association with it is bubblegum, even though i can't pinpoint it to a single one. weird. it is a dirty white base full with multicolored glitter: green, pink, white, orange, blue, you name it! i love this polish, it looks so fun but not over the top.

30. theme friday: brown

tematska boja prethodne nedelje je bila braon. učestvovala sam sa predivnim opi espresso your style!ali, pošto je bilo previše oblačno, nisam preterano zadovoljna slikama pa ću ga predstaviti kako mu doliči neki drugi put. sledeća tema je mat, tako da verujem da će biti zanimljivo!

the theme color in the past week was brown. i participated with the gorgeous opi espresso your style! but, since it was too cloudy, i was not too happy with my pictures so i'll swatch it as it deserves when the weather changes. the new topic is matte, so i'm expecting a good challenge!

essence alice had a vision -again (breaking dawn part 2)

alice had a vision-again je jedan od lakova iz essence twilight breaking dawn part 2  kolekcije (koliko ime!), koju sam delimično predstavila ovde.

alice had a vision-again is one of the polishes from the essence twilight breaking dawn part 2 (what a long name!) le, that i partially swatched here.

u principu, ova kolekcija je mogla biti genijalna. ništa ne može više da me oduševi kao kolekcija sa tri skoro crna laka sa šimerom, ali, na žalost, ostala sam razočarana.

ovaj lak je tamna, skoro crna ljubičasta, puna plavog, svetlije ljubičastog i zelenog staklastog šimera. formula je jedna od najgorih sa kojim sam se susrela. lak je pregust a četkica široka i čudno sečena (kao loša kopija diorove), i u kombinaciji su baš nesrećni. iako je formula gusta, i posle dva sloja ostaju ćelava mesta. nosila sam ovaj lak 2 ipo puta. kada sam ga prvi put namazala, sve je izgledalo očajno pa sam ga odmah skinula, namazala jednu ruku opet, i pošto opet nisam bila zadovoljna, skinula sam ga. posle nekih nedelju dana sam opet probala i situacija je bila bolja, mada sam ipak namazala tri sloja. iako je krajnji rezultat predivan i boja izgleda izuzetno, poklonila sam ga jedno dragoj lakoholičarki, u nadi da će ona biti srećnija ili bar strpljivija.
prirodna svetlost:

in principle, this collection could've been a killer. give me a three dark based glass flecked shimmer polishes collection,  and i'll jump with joy. but, overall, i am disappointed.

this one is the deep almost-black purple base, full with blue, lighter purple and green flecks. the formula is one of the worst ones i ever applied. it is thick with a wide, weirdly cut brush (a bit of an ill made copy of dior's brush), which is bad when they are combined. even though the formula is thick, it leaves bald spots even after two coats. i wore this polish 2 1\2 times, the first time i wore it, it looked like a mess, so i removed it immediately and started again, but it wasn't much better. i tried again about a week later, this time the result was somewhat better, but i went with three coats. even though the end result is amazing, i decided to give it to another polish addict, in hope she'll be more lucky or patient!

layering aura techno over ibd meteorite

pisala sam o tome koliko me je nervirao aura techno ovde, i bila sam neverovatno blizu da ga bacim u đubre, što je nešto na šta se retko i vrlo teško odlučujem. ipak sam rešila da mu dam još jednu šansu, prvo kao samostalan lak, gde mu ni pet slojeva nije bilo dovoljno za potpunu pokrivenost, a posle kao nadlak preko ibd meteorite, i, bar meni, rezultat je fantastičan i jedna od onih kombinacija koje su mnogo lepše uživo nego na slikama.

i wrote about aura techno annoying me here, and it was really really close to being thrown in trash, which is something i rarely do.  actually, i decided to give it another chance on its own, and even five coats didn't make it opaque, so i did what i should've done in the beginning: used it for layering. the base color was ibd meteorite.in my opinion, the end result is amazing, and it's one of those combos that look better irl than on pictures.

ruffian: essence be optimistic and catrice king of greens

ovo je moj prvi pokušaj ruffiana, koji mi je dugo bio u glavi, i to baš u ovoj narandžasto-zelenoj kombinaciji. pre par dana sam opet nosila essence be optimistic! (pošto je na listi za odstrel), pa je to bila dobra prilika da mu dodam catrice king of greens.

this was my first attempt at ruffian mani ever. i wanted to do it for a while, with this green-orange color combo in my head, and finally made myself do it couple of day ago, when i was wearing essence be optimistic! again. green is catrice's king of greens.
