opi tomorrow never dies (skyfall)

skyfall was probably the last collection from opi that blew me away.  maybe it's because i didn't own billion polishes at that point so it provided me with a lot of interesting shades. one of those was the gorgeous tomorrow never dies.

and tomorrow never dies truly is special. the shade is blurple/indigo, with that gorgeous blue and pink "powdered" shimmer that almost gives that "lit from within" kind of look.

the formula is slightly on the thick side, but good to work with and even though it looks like a stainer, that doesn't happen.

big bang je kompleksni lepotan! nijansa je blurple sa nešto jačim plavim tonom, i raznobojnim šljokicama. i zaista mislim raznobojnim, jer nema boje koja se ne pojavljuje. lak je dubok, bogat i kompleksan, pravo savršenstvo.

formula je odlična, pokriva u dva sloja i jedan je od mojih omiljenijih novijih pp lakova. na žalost, moje slike ne dočaravaju potpuno njegovu lepotu.

prirodna svetlost:

big bang is such a complex beauty! the shade is blue leaning blurple, with multicoloured, and i mean multicoloured because i can see pretty much everything, glitter. it is deep, rich, complex, in one word, a stunner!

formula is awesome, opaque in two coats, and one of my favourite recent pp shades. my pictures, sadly, don't do it justice.

midnight nocturne je fantastična blurple nijansa sa plavom kao dominantnijom bojom. kao i svi lakovi iz ove kolekcije, i ovaj je pun prelepih zlatnih holo čestica.

lak je odlične formule, vrlo lak za mazanje i sve u svemu, prelep.

the shade is amazingly saturated, easy to work with and overall gorgeous.

kada sam videla stockholm, bilo mi je jasno da možda i preterujem sa blurple nijansama, ali sam se ubedila da ovaj odnos ljubičaste i plave još ne postoji u mojoj kolekciji :) iako se nisam pokajala, mislim da ih neću kupovatio u skorije vreme.

u ovoj nijansi je ljubičasta jasno dominantna nad plavom, mada je kamera čini nešto plavljom. zaista prelepa, bogata i živa bojica, uz dogsled moj jasan favorit ove kolekcije.

prirodna svetlost:

when i saw stockholm, i was aware that i might be overdoing it with blurples, but convinced myself that this ratio of purple to blue was yet unseen :) while i haven't regretted my decision, far from it, i think i will be laying off these shades for a while.

in this shade, purple clearly dominates the blue, but the camera makes it a bit more blue. it is gorgeous, rich and vivid, with dogsled a true stand out in this collection.

obožavam i plave i ljubičaste lakove, ali njihovu kombinaciju još više. ovaj lak naginje ka plavoj više nego ka ljubičastoj strani spektra. po bočici deluje da je duohrom ili metalik, ali se ipak ispostavilo da je u pitanju samo vrlo gust šimer, ali ipak prelep.

lak je odlično pigmentovan i nema posebnih nedostataka u formuli.

prirodna svetlost:

i love both purple and blue polishes, but i just might love blurples the most. this one is leaning more towards blue than purple. from the bottle, it would seem that it is a duochrome or a metallic polish, but in fact it is just highly saturated shimmer, but pretty nevertheless.

it is well pigmented with no particular formula difficulties.

essence passion for fashion (colour&go 87)

ako bih morala da biram najdraži essence lak, bila bi mrtva trka između passion for fashion i choose me. šteta što nisam uzela još neki za rezervu, pošto su oba laka povučena pri promeni asortimana.

if i had to choose my favorite essence polish of all time, it would be a tie between passion for fashion and choose me. too bad i didn't stock up on both of them, since they are discontinued now that essence redesigned their bottles.

jedina loša stvar kod ovog laka je ta što se baš teško slika, i nisam nigde videla potpuno veran swatch. moje slike vuku na plavo, ali je uživo savršena blurple krema (pri čemu je ljubičasta za nijansu dominantnija). dva sloja su dovoljna za potpunu pokrivenost, ali je formula gušća pa je bolje ako se mažu deblji slojevi. pošto volim i plavce i ljubičaste lakove, obožavam i ovu njihovu kombinaciju.


pošto su samo slike na prirodnom svetlu smislene, pokazujem samo njih:

the only bad thing about this polish, is that it photographes poorly. i haven't seen any completely faithful swatches anywhere. my pics are leaning toward blue, but the color is a perfect blurple (with purple being a bit more dominant) creme. it is completely opaque with two layers, but the formula is a bit tricky so it needed thicker layers to work smoothly. since i adore both purple and blue polishes, i love their love child even more!

since only the direct sunlight pictures make sense, i will post only those.
