aura punk (party time collection)

trenutni tematski petak je posvećen našem aura brendu. imam samo tri njihova laka, kultni on the edge, techno i punk kog ću sada predstaviti. sva tri laka su prilično jedinstvena i prelepa.

this theme friday is dedicated to one serbian brand called aura. i have only three aura polishes, the cult one on the edge, techno and punk, that i'm wearing now. all three polishes i have are very unique and beautiful.

punk je bio deo prošlogodišnje praznične party time kolekcije, zajedno sa lakovim jazz, techno i hip hop. nažalost, nigde ne mogu da nađem promo sliku.

punk je, kao što mu i dolikuje, prelep i jedinstven lak. bazna boja je teget, puna svetloplavog i tirkiznog šimera koji mu daje posebnost i dubinu. nosila sam ga nekoliko puta, i svaki put sam se iznenadila koliko je fantastičan. formula i četkica nisu problematični.

punk was a part of the last year's holiday collection called party time, together with techno, jazz and hip hop. unfortunately, i can't find a promo pic anywhere.

punk, as it should be, is so unique and beautiful. the base color is navy blue, but it is filled with sparkling light blue and turquoise shimmer that really gives it depth. i wore quite a few times, and every time i get surprised how stunning it looks. the formula and brush were nice to work with.

kada je aura rešila da povuče on the edge prošlog proleća, postao je jedan od najtraženijih lakova i devojke na roze forumu su redovno izveštavale o lokacijama poslednjih bočica po beogradu, dok i poslednja nije bila udomljena. naravno da u tom periodu nisam bila u srbiji, i tešila sam se da mi OTE ne treba jer sam već imala catrice after eight, ali priznajem da sam potajno skenirala aurin štand u lilly-ju svaki sledeći put kad sam bila u beogradu.


onda se dogodilo čudo. kada sam otišla u svoj grad, našla sam ga zabačenog na polici, dosta vremena nakon što je i poslednji viđen u beogradu. izgleda da devojke kod mene nisu znale šta im se nalazi na polici :D

when serbian brand aura decided to discontinue on the edge sometime in the spring last year, this had become one of the "must haves" and the girls on the pink forum reported on the sightings of the last bottles until there were none to be found. of course, i wasn't in serbia at that time, but, because i already had catrice after eight,  i convinced myself that i don't need on the edge. i have admit to that i scanned the aura stands in every lilly drogerie whenever i was in belgrade. 

and then, the miracle happened. i went to my hometown, and found it, quite some time after the last one was seen in belgrade. obviously the girls there didn't know that it is so sought after :D

pisala sam o tome koliko me je nervirao aura techno ovde, i bila sam neverovatno blizu da ga bacim u đubre, što je nešto na šta se retko i vrlo teško odlučujem. ipak sam rešila da mu dam još jednu šansu, prvo kao samostalan lak, gde mu ni pet slojeva nije bilo dovoljno za potpunu pokrivenost, a posle kao nadlak preko ibd meteorite, i, bar meni, rezultat je fantastičan i jedna od onih kombinacija koje su mnogo lepše uživo nego na slikama.

i wrote about aura techno annoying me here, and it was really really close to being thrown in trash, which is something i rarely do.  actually, i decided to give it another chance on its own, and even five coats didn't make it opaque, so i did what i should've done in the beginning: used it for layering. the base color was ibd meteorite.in my opinion, the end result is amazing, and it's one of those combos that look better irl than on pictures.

priznajem, ne mogu da odolim laku koji ima dobro izabrano ime i propaganda ima veliki uticaj na mene po tom pitanju. zato sam bila na teškim mukama da ne uzem sve iz essence snow white kolekcije, a čak i ne volim tu bajku nešto posebno (da je kolekcija bila o maloj sireni ili uspavanoj lepotici, tu se već ne bih suzdržavala :D) na kraju sam odlučila da uzmem samo one koje sam stvarno želela (grumpy i dva topera, huntsman i prince charming, ali sam ipak dodala i evil queen, jer kako da ostavim reginu iz serije "once upon a time" na polici :)) čak je i stalak bio presladak!

i am a sucker for a well chosen nail polish name, and i admit to being susceptible to propaganda. that's why i had to try really hard not to buy everything from essence snow white limited edition. and i actually never liked that particular fairy tale (i would probably surrender to this urge if it was little mermaid or sleeping beauty :D). i decided to buy only the ones i really liked (grumpy and two toppers, huntsman and prince charming, but i had to have evil queen also, how could i leave regina form "once upon a time" on a shelf :)) even the stand was so adorable!

aura techno je neverovatno proziran tirkizni lak koji je bio deo novogodišnje kolekcije. uzela sam ga negde u decembru, kad sam ga i namazala prvi i jedini put. sećam se da mi ni tri sloja nisu bila dovoljna za potpunu pokrivenost. pošto ga od tad nisam mazala, juče sam bila u raspoloženju za jedan mali eksperiment. nažalost, nekako sam uspela da izbrišem slike sa dva sloja laka (pokušaću da povratim slike sa kartice), ali je to u svakom slučaju bio jadan prizor! došla sam do čak četiri sloja ali se i dalje vidi nokat!
prirodna svetlost:

aura techno is an insanely shear turquoise polish with a glass flecked finish that i bought as a part of a new year collection back in december. i remember putting three coats and it still wasn't enough to be opaque. since i haven't tried this polish after that, yesterday i was in a mood for a little experiment. unfortunately, i somehow erased the pictures after two coats (i will try to retreive them later on today), but it was a bit sad to look at my nails like that, so i went as far as 4 coats, and still, there is a quite VNL.

aura je kompanija iz srbije koja ima više različitih kolekcija. ja imam dva laka iz "inches" (punk i techno, koje sam morala da uzmem, ako ništa drugo, zbog imena) i jednog iz "nail beauty" (klasik, on the edge).

aura is serbian brand that has many different collections. i have two polishes from the inches one (punk and techno, i had to had them, if nothing because of the names) and one from the nail beauty collection (on the edge).
