essie dressed to the nineties (fall 2017)

i am not that into essie polishes as i find their shades to be usually too commercial for me, even though i love their brush. but, i spotted dressed to the nineties from their fall collection and had to go for it.

i had a feeling that this shade would not be as spectacular on the nails as it is in the bottle. in some of the photos, you can see the bottle, and i really wish it looked like that. nevertheless, it's a cool shade. the colour is deep purple/violet, with fine green/blue, almost iridescent shimmer. formula is amazing, it practically flows. if the effect was stronger, i would absolutely adore it!

opi teas-y does it (burlesque)

teas-y does it was in opi's burlesque collection for holidays 2010.

it's one of those gorgeous vampy, deep purple shades with some brown undertones (more visible in pictures in the shade). it has a sort of duochrome type of shimmer, predominantly red but turning gold in certain angles.

even though it is old, formula is great with good coverage. definitely a must have, one of those elegant yet edgy polishes.

pre nego što sam zapošela ovaj post, uopšte nisam bila svesna toga da je opi-jev lak have you seen my limo toliko star. izašao je kao deo holiday in hollywood kolekcije za praznike 2007.

before i started this post, i was completely unaware that opi's have you seen my limo is such an old polish! the collection it was in, holiday in hollywood, was released for holidays 2007.

nije mi jasno kako su u opi-ju ovoliko mogli da promaše promo sliku, jer nije ni približno onakva kako ovaj lak izgleda. trebalo bi da bude i blago duohrom, ali no ne vidim i neću ga tako označiti. ipak, obožavam ovaj lak i mislim da je jasno zašto.

limo je prelepa ljubičasto-patlidžanasta nijansa sa neverovatnim suptilnim zelenim i srebrnim šimerom kog mog kamera prosto ne ože da ulovi. veoma mi je žao zbog toga jer taj šimer je baš to što ovom laku da je specijalni momenat.

prirodna svetlost:

i have no idea how opi managed to mess up the promo picture like this, because it's not even similar to what it looks in real life. it is supposed to be slightly duochrome as well, but i definitely can't see it. nevertheless, i adore this polish, and i think it's easy to see why.

limo is a purple-eggplant type of shade with awesome subtle green and subtle shimmer that my camera just can't seem to catch. this is such a pity because it is what gives this polish that extra special touch. it is so rich and pretty!

obožavam ovaj lak. obožavam! u pitanju je zacrnjena ljubičasta uz malo i blurple uticaja. na žalost, na mojim slikama je više blurple nego uživo. holo efekat je savršen, kao i u ostatku kolekcije.

formula je, kao i uvek, savršena. potpuno preporučujem ovaj lak!

i love this polish. love it! it is a blackened purple with a hint of blurple. unfortunately, a bit more blurple in my photos than in real life. the holo effect is just perfect, just as in the rest of the collection.

formula is, as usual, flawless. i highly recommend this polish.

new world purple, takođe poznat kao aztec chocolate, je dior lak iz njihove kolekcije za jesen 2010, nail bar.

new world purple, otherwise known as aztec chocolate, is dior polish from their autumn 2010 collection nail bar.

promo slika prikazuje new world purple mnogo više ljubičastim nego što on to jeste. ovo je kompleksna nijansa, hladna braon sa ljubičastim podtonom i puno šimera. i to ne standardni skriveni dior šimer!

odavno je povučen i drago mi je da imam svoj primerak. formula je nešto tanja, ali je toliko lep da mi nije teško da to oprostim.

the promo picture shows new purple more, well, purple than it actually is. it's a complex shade, a cool brown with purple undertones and a lot of shimmer. not that dior hiddens shimer, but the real deal.

it's discontinued, and i am happy i have it in my collection. the formula is a bit thin, but it's so pretty that i can forgive it pretty much everything.

franken polish: star bwoy by shine eye

nakon što sam pokazala moj prvi franken lak, time for heroes, danas sam se odlučila za mog ljubimca, star bwoy.

after showing my first franken polish, time for heroes, today i decided on my personal favourite, star bwoy.

potpuno sam oduševljena kako je ispalo "kuvanje" ovog laka. star bwoy je fantastična ljubičasta sa dosta srednje plavog podtona. holo čestice su se odlično uklopile, kao da igraju po površini nokta.

iz nekog razloga, dok sam još bila na pola puta do gotovog laka ali sam znala na koje bočice čekam, osećala dam da moram da ga nazvem star bwoy po mavado-voj pesmi.

izvinjavam se za ovoliko slika, ali ne mogu da odolim!

i am completely amazed as how star bwoy turned up to be. the shade itself is gorgeous, light purple with medium blue undertones. and the holo effect just makes everything so awesome, like it's dancing on top of the nail.

for some reason, while my frankening was only half way done, but i knew which polishes i'm waiting for, i just knew that i will name it after mavado's song star bwoy.

a england crown of thistles (elisabeth & mary)

vreme je za još jednog a england lepotana, i ovaj put biram crown of thistles iz elisabeth & mary kolekcije.

it's time for another a england beauty, and this time i chose crown of thistles from elisabeth & mary collection.

ne mogu da prestanem da se oduševljavam a england lakovima jer su zaista po mom ukusu. crown of thistles je pelep, svetlo ljubičasti lak sa suptilnim ali vrlo vidljivim holo efektom.

kao i uvek, formula je čisto savršenstvo, i definitivno preporuka s moje strane.

i just can't stop gushing over a england polishes, because they are always so perfect. crown of thistles is such a pretty bright purple, with a quite subtle but still very vivid holo effect.

as usual, the formula is flawless and definitely a recommendation from me.

dance legend cosmic rainbow (new prism)

uvek je dobar trenutak za holo lakove, tako da sam se odlučila za dance legend  cosmic rainbow iz fantastične new prism kolekcije.

it's always good time for a holo, so i'm showing dance legend's cosmic rainbow from the awesome new prism collection.

cosmic rainbow je predivan, jarko ljubičasti linearni holo lak. new prism je definitivno jedna od najboljih kolekcija ludih holo nijansi. izvinjavam se na količini slika, ali prosto nisam mogla da se odlučim.

sa ovakvim l akovima uvek koristim vodenu bazu, tako da ne mogu da komentarišem kako bi se ponašao sa običnom bazom.

cosmic rainbow is such an awesome bright purple linear holo. new prism is definitely one of the best collections of crazy holos. i apologize for the amount of pictures because i just couldn't make up my mind.

i always use water base with linear holos, so i can't comment on how it works with regulare base coat.

china glaze stella (retro diva)

stella pripada jednoj od najklasičnijih china glaze kolekcija, retro diva, koja je bila puna fantastičnih lakova.

stella is from one of the most classic china glaze collections, retro diva, that was packed with a lot of awesome polishes.

stella je zaista izuzetan lak. prelepa duboka ljubičasta sa jakim magenta tonom i dubokim, skoro pa metalik šimerom.

formula je takođe odlična. stella je klasičan ljubičasti šimer i ako se razmišljate da uzmete jedan od ovakvih lakova, definitivno ga preporučujem.

stella is a really stunning polish. a beautiful, magenta-toned deep purple with deep, almost metallic looking shimmer.

formula is also really nice, truly a classic purple shimmer and if you don't have one of those, i definitely recommend it.

zaista ne znam kako je moguće da još nisam napravila post o every month is oktoberfest iz opi-jeve germany kolekcije, ali to konačno menjam.

wow, i have no idea how is it possible i still haven't swatched every month is oktoberfest from opi's germany collection, but here it goes.

every month is oktoberfest (emio) je već legendaran lak i o njemu su napisani postovi i postovi tako da mi je baš teško da pišem o njemu.

lak je zaista pravo sevršestvo. prelepa tamna ljubičasto/crvena baza sa bogatim zlatnim i crvenim šimerom. tako je vamp i lep i stvarno obavezan lak u svačijoj kolekciji, kakve god nijanse da uobičajeno nosite.

priroda svetlost:

every month is oktoberfest (emio) is already a legendary polish and there are so many posts written about it that i am really stuck now.

it is stunningly gorgeous. a dark, purplish/red base with rich red and gold shimmer. it is so rich and vampy and pretty and a definitive must have in any girl's collection, whatever her colour preferences.

natural light:

catrice heavy metallilac (800)

danas je dobar dan za još jedan stari lak, i izbor je pao na catrice heavy metallilac.

it's a good day for another oldie, and my choice is catrice heavy metallilac.

rekla bih da ne znam za lak koji je tačije nazvan. zaista je lila i metalik :) šalu na stranu, ovo je prelepa, živahna ljubičasta sa metalik finišom.

formula je solidna, suši se bez visokog sjaja ali ništa što sloj nadlaka neće rešiti. nije ga lako uslikati, što je i razlog zašto mi je trebalo ovoliko vremena da ga predstavim.

prirodna svetlost:

i don't think that there was  more correctly named polish. it really is lilac and metalic :) jokes aside, it is a nice, vibrant purple with a metallic finish.

formula is solid, it dries a bit dull but nothing that a top coat can't fix. it's hard to capture, which is why i haven't presented it before.

bow polish wind of change (conversion)

ovo je prvi bow polish kog prikazujem, i u pitanju je wind of change iz conversion kolekcije.

this is the first bow polish i am showing, and it's wind of change from the conversion collection.

obožavam dobro odrađene termo lakove. doduše, ovaj nije moj. nosila sam dance legend dreams na pikniku na plaži, i dve devojčice su se zaljubile u moje nokte. istog trenutka sam rešila da naručim i za njih, ali je već bio rasprodat, pa sam se odlučila za ovaj lak. one su bile dobre i dozvolile da ga isprobam :D

što se formule tiče, sličan je sa dreams (mada, bow polish i pripada dance legend brendu). menja se iz svetlo plave, preko tamno ljubičaste do tamno plave. nosila sam ga po vrlo vrućem danu, pa sam imala probleme da ga potpuno prebacim u najtamniju boju. služila sam se trikom potapanja noktiju u hladnu vodu. takođe, boja se menja na mestu gde voda didrne nokat.

kao dodatak, sadrži i holo čestice da ga napravi još zanimljivijm! suši se mat, i pošto uz dreams nisam koristila nadlak, odlučila sam se da to sad uradim. moram da priznam, lepši mi je bez. wind of change je zaista, zaista odličan i sigurno ću nabaviti njihov thermo top coat.

i love well-made thermal polishes. this one is actually not mine. i wore dance legend dreams on a beach picnic, and had two little girls obsessing about my nails. i decided to get them dreams as a gift, but it was already sold out. i got them this one instead, and they borrowed it to me for a review.

formula wise, it's similar to dreams (well, bow is actually dance legend spin off) . it switches from light blue to dark purple to dark blue. i wore it recently on a really hot day, so i had difficulties to make it switch to the darkest shade, so i used tricks like putting my nails in cold water. it also instantly changes colour when the water touches the nail.

in addition, it has holo particles, to make it more awesome! it dries matte, and, since i didn't use the top coat with dreams, i decided to do it here. i have to say, i prefer it without. it is really, really awesome, and i will surely be getting their thermo top coat.

uz moju najnoviju opsesiju f. u. .n. lacquer lakovima, danas pokazujem cheers to the holidays (h) iz kolekcija za božić 2015.  usput, moram da pohvalim to što na etiketu ne stavljaju samo ime laka već i kolekciju kojoj pripadaju.

with my newest obsession with f. u. n. lacquer polishes, i am showing you cheers to the holidays (h) from the christmas 2015 collection. btw, i like how they put the name of the collection on the label, not just the name of the polish.

cheers to the holidays (h) je holo verzija laka sa istim imenom i istom baznom bojom ali bez holo efekta.

ovo je zaista fantastičan lak! u pitanju je pravi multihrom, sa bojom koja se preliva iz ljubičaste i crvene u plavu i blurple, pa čak i bronzanu. moj aparat ispira malo boju pod direktnim suncem, ali ovaj lak je u svakom trenutku multihrom, nezavisno od  osvetljenja. dodajte tome i odličnu kombinacuju holo mikrošljokica i šimera, i dobijate magiju.

nosila sam ovaj lak tri dana i nisam mogla da prestanem da gledam u nokte, koji su mi nekako svaki put izgledali drugačije. skidanje je malo teže, zbog šljokica, ali folija ipak nije potrebna formula je dobra, i ne "jede" nadlak, kao što mi se činilo da će biti slučaj.

cheers to the holidays (h) is a holo version of their polish with the same name and the same base colour but without the holo particles.

it is a truly awesome polish! it is a proper multichrome, shifting from purple and red to blurple, blue and even bronze. my camera washes out the colour in the direct sunlight, but this polish is constantly multichrome, no matter the lightning. add to the mix a fine combination of holographic microglitter and shimmer, and you get a truly unique polish!

i was wearing this one for three days and couldn't stop staring at my nails, with it showing me a different side very time. it is a bit tricky to remove because of the glitter, but the foil is not really needed. formula is good and it's not a top coat eater, as i thought it might be.

opi ink suede (suede)

trenutno sam u mat raspoloženju, i baš volim opi suede kolekciju, pa sam rešila da pokažem ink u suede verziji.

i am currently in a matte mood, and i love opi's suede collection, so i decided to show ink in suede version.

volim ink u obe verzije, iako su potpuno drugačije. ink suede je prelepa patlidžan boja. suede zarvršnica je divna, mat ali puna srebrnog šimera koji mu daje satenski izgled.

formula je dobra i suši se brzo, tako da probajte da budete brzi inače će se videti potezi četkicom.

prirodna svetlost:

i love ink in both versions, but they are quite different. ink suede is beautiful, eggplant type of colour. suede finish is beautiful, matte but filled with silvery shimmer that gives it a sort of a satin look.

the formula is  nice and it dries quickly, so try to be precise, otherwise you will get brushstrokes.

dance legend dreams (Греза) (hallowleen 2015 by anna gorelova)

htela sam da završim 2015tu sa posebnim lakom, tako da počinjem i 2016tu sa istom idejom. čast je dobio dance legend dreams (ili Греза) iz ovogodičnje specijalne kolekcije u saradnji sa anna-om gorelova-om, hallOWLeen.

i wanted to end 2015 with a special polish, and i want to start 2016 with the same idea, so here it is, dance legend dreams (or Греза) from this year's special edition collection with anna gorelova called hallOWLeen.

dreams je istovremeno holo i termalni lak, tako da je automatski fantastičan. čekala sam da mi nokti malo porastu, pošto time osiguravate automatski termalni efekat jer vrh nokta hladniji od ostatka jer nije u kontaktu s mesom.

bazna boja se menja iz tamne, prelepe ljubičaste do svetlije nijanse kad je toplo. suši se mat, i nadlak mu ne utiče na efekat, ali sam ja bila oduševljena i ovako i rešila da preskočim nadlak.


ovaj lak me je potpuno oduševio. nosila sam ga na izlet na plažu (u sred zime), i promena boje je prelepo pratila promene temperature. ljudi (uključujući i mene) su mi konstantno uzimali šake da mi gledaju u nokte.

na poslednjoj slici možete videti kolaž promene boje iz hladne u toplu.

prirodna svetlost:

dreams is both holo and thermal, so awesome by default. i waited for my nails to be a bit longer to wear it, since this enhances the thermal effect with the tip of the nail being colder as it's not touching the flesh.

the base color shifts from darker, gorgeous purple in colder weather to bright purple in the warm. it dries matte, and the top coat apparently doesn't interfere with the thermal effect, but i just loved it like this and decided not to put it.

this polish blew me away! i wore it on a day at the beach (it is winter, mind you), and the color shift was beautifully mimicking the weather change. people (including me) were constantly taking my hands to look at my nails.

chanel rose fusion (vamp attitude)

pošto je ovaj post najverovatnije poslednji za ovu godinu, rešila sam da izaberem baš poseban lak, i mislim da je rose fusion iz chanel-ove praznične kolekcije vamp attitude pravi izbor.

since this is probably my last post of the year, i wanted to finish it with a very special polish,and i believe that rose fusion from chanel's holiday collection called vamp attitude is just that.

 

moram priznati da bih ga verovatno preskočila da nije bilo slika od liv sa blushnglow bloga. bočica može da vas prevari da pomislite da je lak dosadan, a u stvari je jedan od najkomplesnijihh koje imam.

količina boja i finiša u jednoj bočici je neverovatna. kada je oblačan dan, izgleda kao prelepi duohrom koji se preliva iz ljubičaste u blatnjavu. na suncu postaje bronzikaszi metalik lak sa prelepim srebrnim šimerom.

stvarno je jedinstven i fantastičan, kao da imate drugi lak svaki put kad pogledate u nokte. pomalo se vide potezi četkice, ali nije strašno. postavila sam dosta slika jer zaista nisam mogla da oslolim.

oblačan dan:

i would have probably overlooked this one, if it wasn't for blushnglow. the botlle can fool you to think that this is a dull polish, while in reality, it is one of the most complex.

the amount of colours and finishes in one bottle is crazy. on  a cloudy day, it is a gorgeous purple to taupe duochrome, while at sun it becomes a more bronzy metallic polish with awesome silvery shimmer.

it is really unique and magnificent, as if you are wearing a different polish every time you look at your nails. the formula is a bit brushstrokey, but it's really fine. i have a lots of pictures, because i couldn't resist.

opi temptation (designer series)

danas imam pravu šljokičavu bombu za vas, temptation iz opi designer series kolekcije.

today i have a glitter bomb for you, temptation from opi's designer series.

temptation je bio deo designer series za 2011 i stvarno je šljokičava bomba!

baza je tamno ljubičasta jelly, sa dosta različitih šljokica: od malih do velikih plavih i ljubičastih uz poneku roze. trebala su tri sloje da bih imela pokrivenost uz moju dužinu noktiju. naravno, morala sam da ga matiram, slike su pri kraju posta.

prirodna svetlost:

temptation was part of designer series for 2011, and it sure is a glitter bomb.

it is a dark purple jelly packed with so much glitter, from large to tiny purple and blue and some pink even. it took three coats to make it opaque with my nail length. of course i had to mattify it, which you can see in the picture below.

konačno je dšlo vreme da pokažem pandora iz picture polish opulence shades kolekcije iz 2014.

pandora je zaista prelepa. nijansa je tamnija ljubičasta sa fantastičnim rasejanim holo česticama koje je čine vrlo živom.

formula je odlična, potpuna pokrivenost se dobija sa dva sloja i suši se glatko i bez nadlaka.

pandora is a really gorgeous shade. a dark-leaning purple with that awesome scattered holo effect that makes it look alive.

formula is great, two coats give perfect coverage and the finish is smooth even without a top coat.

essie sexy divide (winter 2008)

sexy divide je stari essie lak, još iz kolekcije za zimu 2008.

sexy divide is a really old essie polish, back from the winter collection of 2008.

 

ovaj lak i ja imamo komplikovan odnos. dobila sam ga na poklon kada sam kupovala neke druge lakove, i prvo mislila da je odličan poklon, jer šta može biti bolje od šimerastog, ljubičastog lepotana.

na žalost, ima vodenu, tešku formulu uz staru tanku četkicu. skoro pa je mučenje mazati ga. iz nekog razloga verujem da je nova formula sa novom širokom četkicom bolja, ali nemam iskustva s njim. ipak, i ovu moju verziju nosim s vremena na vreme jer je ipak lep.

this polish and me have a complicated relationship. i got it as a present when i was buying polishes on one blog sale. initially i thought it's great i got it, because what can be better than a shimmery, purple gorgeousness.

but, it has a runny, difficult formula, combined with the old thin brush. it is almost a torture applying it. for some reason i think that the new formula with the wide brush is much better, but i have no evidence. nevertheless, i still wear it from time to time because it is pretty.

china glaze let's groove (retro diva)

retro diva je starinska china glaze kolekcija (iz 2009te) koja nam je dala dosta miljenika, poput short and sassy, stroll i stella, ali let's groove je jedan od najboljih lakova koje su ikad izbacili.

retro diva is an ancient china glaze collection (well, from 2009) that gave us a lots of favourites, such as short and sassy, stroll and stella, but let's groove is one of the best polishes they ever released.

ovaj lak je potpuno savršenstvo. prelepa topla, bogata, ne previše tamna ljubičasta sa fantastičnim šimerom. vrlo je lako videti zašto je ovo jedan od njihovih najpopularnijih lakova.

formula i aplikacija su ok, i ne postoji ništa što mogu da zamerim ovom laku.

this polish is pure perfection. amazing warm, rich, not too dark purple with awesome shimmer. it is easy to see why it is one of their most popular polishes.

formula and application are fine, i just can't find anything wrong with this polish.
