collistar grafite lacca (carisma)

collistar's grafite lacca, from their carisma collection for autumn 2011, is one of my favourite polishes ever. i got it as a present and simply love it!

this is the only collistar polish i own, and the one my friends used to borrow a bit too often. it has a brush similar to opi's, so it works awesome for me. the shade is the most perfect muddy of all times, just the right mixture of beige, taupe, grey with a dash of blue. 

formula is awesome, because everything abut this polish is awesome. i think i will never ever get to it's last drop (and i am approaching that stage) but i will continue preserving it and looking at it for the whole eternity.

novi početak-a new start

konačo sam se smestila u mesto koje će mi biti dom sledećih godinu daa, pa je vreme da prikažem koja 24 laka su izabraa da mi prave društvo. koz mesec ili nešto više ću doći na kratko u srbiju da još ponešto završim, pa se nadam da ću doneti još bočica.

so, i'm finally settled down in what will be my home for a year, so it's time to share what 24 polishes were chosen to keep me company. i should return to belgrade in a month or two to finish some stuff, so i'm hoping to bring a few more.

nisam baš imala neki sistem u biranju. u stvari, misc i catrice su pakovani koliko toliko planski, ostale je nasumičo izabrao md iz kutije sa tim brendom, uz uslov da taj lak već nisam kačila.

i dalje imam neke neobjavljene svočeve, pa se nadam da ću nastaviti sa redovnim pisanijem!

i didnt' really have  a system in choosing, actually, i packed misc and catrice with a idea, others were randomly picked by mb from the box of particular brand, with the condition that it wasn't already swached.

i still have some unpublished swatches from before, so i'm hoping that i'll continue with regular posting.

ok, možemo reći da sam opet preterala! bilo je dosta blogovskih rasprodaja i devojaka sa foruma koje su htele da udome svoje neželjene, tako da nije toliko strašno kako izgleda (bar finansijski)!

ulov meseca je definitivno waterlilly, od kog sam se već bila oprostila.

takođe, bilo je i dosta rođendansik poklona, kao što je opijev set pink of hearts (post će biti uskoro, poklon od md), butter london od najdraže j, kao i alessandro's crystal punk set, koji je poklon moje drage m.


hvala marry j što mi je uzela holiday glow lakove, jer ko zna kad bih ja došla do njih sama.

ok, it's safe to say i overdid it again! there were a lot of blog sales and girls getting rid of their unwanted polishes, so it's not so bad as it looks (at least finantially)!


the catch of the month is most def waterlilly, that i was sure i'll never find.

also, there were some birthday presents, such as opi's set pink of hearts (from my bf, post coming soon), butter london from my dearest j and alessandro's crystal punk set, that i got from my dear m. as a pre-birthday gift!

pošto sam prva dva laka prosledila, mislila sam da će biti dosadno da okačim sliku dve prazne flašice. zato moram da vam pokažem šta se dogodilo mom depend crackle laku koji mi je stacioniran kod dečka. kad sam htela da ga mažem, otkrila sam da se potpuno sasušio:

since the first two polishes i gave away, i thought it would be boring to photograph only 2 empty bottles. but, i have to show what happened to my depend crackle polish. i kept it at my bf's, and when i wanted to use it, this is what i saw, weird, right? :

new in and old out: oct-nov 2012

posle nekoliko meseci discipline i suzdržavanja, malo sam podivljala negde između sredine i kraja oktobra. sve u svemu, 38 novih lakova i samo 5 ispražnjenih bočica. nemam grižu savesti, bilo je nekih prilika koje nisam mogla da propustim, poput popusta i blog rasprodaja, takođe, i opijev skyfall me je raspametio, kao i činjenica da konačno postoji ok china glaze distributer u centru beograda. takođe, imam običaj da kupujem lakove kao kompezaciju kada sam nervozna (poput toga što sam bila u srbiji samo 2 puta u ova dva meseca i da mi je otkazana konferencija u izraelu koju sam jedva čekala), tako da se nakupilo :D

after a couple of months of discipline, i went a little bit crazy somewhere between the middle and the end of november. bottom line, 38 new polishes and only 5 empty bottles in two months  :D i don't mind to much, there were some opportunities that put me off track, sales and such, skyfall by opi  and finally a good china glaze distributor in the centre of belgrade. also, i tend to buy polishes to compensate for stuff (such as only being home in serbia twice in those two months and a cancellation of a conference in israel that i was really looking forward to), so the nailpolish collection grew.

imam dozvoljenih 5 novih na kraju novog meseca, tako da ću da nastavim sa planom "prazna za punu bočicu" do nove godine, uz dozvoljenu kupovinu high end lakova.k olona sa trenutnim lakovima se povećala na 112, ali to je zato što sam potrošila uglavnom sve lakove koji su mi stajali kod dečka, koje sam pre nazvala groblje. plan mi je da tamo sledeći put odnesem nekih 5-10 lakova, pa ću se tako fino približiti cifri od 100 lakova kod sebe, bez topera.

i'm 5 bottles up for my "empty for full bottle" plan, so i'm going to stick with it until the new year, again with allowed purchase of high end polishes. the current column grew bigger, but that's because i emptied a lot of polishes that i had at my bf's, which i called graveyard. i plan to take 5-10 newer polishes there, so the realistic number is about 102, which is growing close to the planned 100 polishes i use, excluding toppers.

i don't know the names of miss sporty polishes, since they are a couple of years old and i can't find any info. the biggest problem is that the numeration on their polishes is unreliable.

my collection: butter london

butter london lakovi su mi postali jedni od omiljenih. kupila sam ova tri kada sam bila u nemačkoj (i par puta zapitala sebe zašto nisam otišla na doktorat tamo, da bih mogla stalno da ih uzimam :D). boje su im fantastične,  isto važi i za formulu i finiš.

butter london polishes have become one of my favorites. i got three of them during my visit to germany (and i cursed myself a couple of times for not going to germany for phd, since i could buy more of them :D). their colors are amazing, and don't get me started on the perfect formula and finish.

my collection: zoya

zoya lakovi (15 ml) su verovatno moj omiljeni brend. ne samo što imaju predivne boje i finiše, nego su i 5 free, a uz to i veganski proizvod, i ne testiraju na životinjama. verovatno je zato čudno da ih imam ovolicno. shvatila sam skoro da njihove lakove kupujem samo kad samu sebe ubedim da sam ih zaslužila. nemam pojma odakle potiče ovaj psihološki momenat, ali mi se nekako zabio u glavu tako da imam popriličnu listu želja, koja stoji netaknuta već neko vreme :D

zoya polishes (15 ml) are probably my favorite brand. they are pretty much "everything free", including animal cruelty. they have a variety of colors and finishes, and it seems pretty weird, since i love them so much, that i have only a few of them. the thing is, i kind of buy them when i feel i really deserve them. i have no idea where this psychological mess comes from, but it's stuck somehow.

aura je kompanija iz srbije koja ima više različitih kolekcija. ja imam dva laka iz "inches" (punk i techno, koje sam morala da uzmem, ako ništa drugo, zbog imena) i jednog iz "nail beauty" (klasik, on the edge).

aura is serbian brand that has many different collections. i have two polishes from the inches one (punk and techno, i had to had them, if nothing because of the names) and one from the nail beauty collection (on the edge).
