essence is quite known for their toppers, and i own a bunch of them. recently, i laid julia from their ancient nail art twins collection to rest, so here are some of the combinations i made with it.

julia is a clear-based polish with hexagonal and micro glitter of the same, pinkish-purplish shade.

essence time for romance (color and go 72)

well, essence time for romance from their original color and go collection, might just be the oldest polish i never swatch in my collection (but i am half afraid that something older may pop out).

i have no idea how this came to happen, because this time i basically used up all the last drops of polish. it appeared in their first color and go edition, somewhere back in 2011, but it made a reappearance in their revamped color and go collection in a new bottle.

it is a wine red jelly base with some rosy hexagonal and tiny glitter. it was well pigmented, the glitter didn't sink and you didn't need to chase it in the bottle. it was a bit gooey and prone to shrinking, as you can see from my tips. nevertheless, it was a very fun polish.

danas pokazujem nekoliko kombinacija koje sam napravila tokom godina preko  essence special effect topper copper'ize me.

today, i am showing a few combinations that i made over the years with essence special effect topper copper'ize me.

tokom godina, ovaj topper mi je postao jedan od omiljenih. ide odlično sa skoro svim.

u providnoj bazi, imamo guste bakarne mikrošljokice, zajedno sa malo većim, raznobojnim šljokicama (plavim, zelenim, srebrnim, roze..). prvi put sam ga pokazala preko china glaze heart of africa.

over the years, this topper became one of my favourites. it goes so well with everything.
in a clear base, we have a lot of copper microglitter, together with slightly larger multicolored (blue, green, silver, pink..) glitter. i showed him for the first time over china glaze heart of africa.

essence gold old buffy (vampire love)

danas predstavljam jedan praistorijski lak. u pitanju je gold old buffy iz essence vampire love kolekcije iz davne 2011.

this is definitely a blast from the past, because i am showing gold old buffy from essence's limited edition vampire love way back in 2011.

zaista mi nije jasno kako je moguće da nosim jedan lak više puta i na kraju ga predstavim nekoliko godina kasnije. ipak, bolje ikad nego nikad.

volim ovakve lakove: tamna, ali ne potpuno crna baza vrlo gusto ispunjena zlatnim ljuspicama.

gold old buffy je stvarno sladak lak, ali kako sada imam više sličnih, ovaj ima najlošiju formulu od svih. generalno nije loša, samo je malo tečniji i samim tim lošije pokrivenosti.

i seriously don't know how is it possible for me to wear a polish quite a few times and present it so many years later. well, better late than never.

i like polishes like this: dark but not completely black base densely packed with gold glass flecks.

gold old buffy is a really cute polish, and since i now own more than one that is similar, it is the one with the worst formula. it is not bad, though, just a bit to runny and not with the best coverage.

chilled orange je deo moje omiljene essence kolekcije, soul sista, još iz proleća 2012.

chilled orange was a part of my favourite essence limited edition collection, soul sista, back in the spring of 2012.

mislim da mi je ova kolekcija toliko draga zato što je izgledala baš sveže (mojito green mi je i dalje jedan od omiljenih lakova). i chilled orange je baš takav, živ i topao.

volim ove narandžasto/žute crelly lakove koje volim da zovem mango nijansama. jedini razlog što ga tek sad pokazujem je taj što takvi lakovi obično imaju nezgodnu formulu. u stvari, ovo je jedini razlog za ovoliku zadršku, svaki put kad sam ga nosila, nadala sam se da ću ga sledeči put bolje namazati. tri sloja su zaista neophodana da bi se sve lepo izjednačilo, ali je krajnji rezultat divan.

i really loved soul sista collection (mojito green is one of my fav shades) because it looked really fresh. chilled orange is just like that, warm and lively.

i like this orange/yellow crelly polishes that i like to call mango shades. the only reason i am showing it right now is because they are usually the ones with a complicated formula. actually, this is the only reason i am showing it with such a delay, every time i've worn it, i hoped that i'll apply it better next time. three coats are really necessary in order to even it out. nevertheless, the end result looks good.

essence power girl (superheroes)

ne volim izgovore, ali su mi posao i putovanja stvarno pojeli svo slobodno vreme. sada se vraćam starom ritmu, i najbolji način da to započnem je sa lepotanom.

power girl je iz essence superheroes kolekcije iz prethodne zime. već sam prikazala drugi lak, the incredibles, ovde.

i'm not really big on excuses, but my work and travels really ate up all of my time. now i'm back on track, and it is only appropriate to start with a real beauty.

power girl is from essence's superheroes collection back in winter 2013. i already showed my other polish, the incredible, here.

ova kolekcija je bila posvećena lakovima sa specijalnim završnicama, i power girl je reklamiran kao lak sa efektom naftne mrlje. u suštini, duohrom koji se preliva iz plave u ljubičastu.

duohromi su mi slaba tačka, i zaista nemam ništa poput ovog laka. na žalost, essence kozmetika mi više nije dostupna, ali je caja bila ljubazna da mi ga nabavi.

ovaj lepotanko ima stvarno jak duohrom efekat, i boje su prelepe. na žalost, slike pod direktnim svetlom prikazuju samo plavu, sam nagoveštajem ljubičaste na ivicama, ali slike u zatvorenom ipak donekle dočaravaju efekat. tragovi četkice su vidljivi, što je i očekivano kod ovakvih lakova, pa mi to ni ne smeta.

this collection was all about special effect polishes, and power girl was advertised as a polish with an oil slick effect. basically, a duochrome that shifts from purple to blue.

i am a sucker for duochromes, and i really have nothing like this one. unfortunately, essence cosmetics is not available to me anymore, so i am grateful to cayca that she picked this one up for me.

this baby has a really strong duochrome effect, and the colours are gorgeous. unfortunately, my pictures in the direct light show only the blue, with a hint of purple on the edges, but the indoor pictures are showing the effect much better. formula is a bit brushstrokey, which is expected for these finishes, but it doesn't really bother me.

choose me! je bio moj omiljeni essence lak. jedini razlog zašto sam uzela nyx sea of cortez je jer sam konačno mogla opušteno da mažem choose me bez straha da ću ga potrošiti.

choose me! was my favourite essence polish. the only reason i got nyx sea of cortez is because i finally could wear this one without the fear of emptying it!
 

ispostavilo se da mu je nyx sea of cortez skoro identičan (u stvari, oba su "kopije" zoya charla) tako da, sve što sam napisala za nyx važi i ovde. slike su iz dve različite prilike, jer sam prvi put zaboravila slike u zatvorenom. u stvari, ovaj poslednji put, lak mi je bio već gotov tako da sam na desnoj ruci imala nyx, a razlika se nije mogla primetiti!

ne mogu da nosim ovaj lak a da ne pomislim na more i sirene. baza je plavkasto/petrolej žele, sa zlatnim ljuspicama i zelenim šimerom. iako je prelep, malo me nervira što ovim lakovima treba tri sloka, pa čak i tad, linija nokta ume da se providi. ipak, toliko mi je drag ovaj tip laka da ću uzeti i charlu kad se nyx približi svom kraju.

it turned out that nyx sea of cortez is it's exact dupe (or, i should say, both of them are dupes for zoya's charla), so all that i wrote about nyx, applies here. i'm posting pictures from two different occasions, since the first time i didn't make indoors pics. actually, that time i was already short on the polish, so i wore nyx on my right hand, and the difference was unnoticeable!

you can't wear this polish without thinking of mermaids! the base colour is bluish/tealish jelly with golden flakies and green shimmer. while it is pretty gorgeous, it's annoying that both of these polishes need three coats, and even with that, nail line can be visible. nevertheless, i plan to get charla too, once nyx approaches it's end.

essence the incredible (superheroes)

essence limited edition kolekcije su mi već neko vreme nezanimljive, ali je superheroes fina promena. na žalost, jedini lak kog sam uspela da se dokopam je the incredible, označen kao teksturni lak.

it's been a while since i was excited about a limited edition from essence, and superheroes is a change from that trend. unfortunately, the only polish i could get my hands on was the incredible, with the sand effect tag.

ovaj lak sam uzela pre oko dva meseca bez provere, kada sam bila u evropi zbog odbrane doktorata. tad je ova kolekcija tek izašla, pa nisam videla svočeve, ali mislim da bih preskočila ovaj lak da jesam.

the inceridble je srednje plavo-petrolej lak sa petrolej šimerom i teksturnom završnicom. ono što mi se ne sviđa je da teksturni efekat nije dovoljno izražen, izgleda nekako gromuljičavo. četkica i formula su prililčno dobri, ali je vreme sušenja nešto duže nego kod ostalih liquid sand lakova koje sam probala, i suši se polumat.

ovde imam bazni lak (china glaze strong adhesion) i dva sloja laka.

i got this polish as a whim almost two months ago when i was back in europe for my phd defence. the le has just got out, so i never saw the swatches, but i think that if i did, i would pass on this one.

the incredible is a medium blue - teal polish with teal shimmer and the sand effect finish. my problem with it is that the texture is not pronounced as it should be, it is on the verge on looking like there are little lumps in the polish. the brush and formula are solid, but the drying time is a bit longer than with other liquid sand polishes i tried. it dries semi matte.

here, i have a base coat (china glaze strong adhesion) and two coats of polish.

essence trust in fashion (colour&go 54)

za mene, essence trust in fashion (colour & go 54, iz proleća 2011) je bio savršenstvo u bočici, i baš je šreta da je povučen.

for me, essence's trust in fashion (colour & go 54, from spring 2011) was a perfection in a bottle, and it's such a pity it's discontinued.

toliko mi je žao da nemam više ni kapljicu ovog laka. on je definitivno bio prvi kojim sam bila opsednuta, i iskapila sam tre bočice! baš mi nedostaje ova nijansa, i ako imate predloge za slične, veoma ćete me obradovati!

boja je prelepa, duboka tamnozelena sa jakim plavim podtonom, definitivno moja nijansa koje mi nikad neće biti dosta! formula je bila malo gušća, ali ništa previše komplikovano.

prirodna svetlost:

i am so sad that i don't have a drop of this polish left. it was the first one that i was actually obsessed with, and i finished three bottles! i miss this one a lot, and if you have suggestions for dupes, it'll make me very happy!

the colour is amazing, deep dark green with a strong blue undertone, definitely a shade that makes my heart beat faster! formula was a bit thick, but nothing too difficult to work with.

essence sparkling champagner (cracking base base)

vreme je da predstavim jednog iz grupe mojih najstarijih lakova koji je odavno potrošen, iz prve essence cracking linije, bazna boja sparkling champagner.

it's time to show one of my oldest polishes that's been already emptied a while ago, from essence's first cracking line, a base color sparkling champagner.

ovo je bio period kada sam otkrila da postoje i druge boje sem crne, ali nisam imala pojma šta mi se sviđa inudi. tada sam uzela obe baze i sparkling silver se zadržao na listi mojih nosivih boja, dok stvarno ne znam šta mi je bilo u glavi kad sam uzela sparkling champagner!

ovo je školski primer prljavo bisernog frosty laka. boja stvarno podseća na šampanjac. potezi četkicom su vrlo vidljivi, što se i očekuje kod ovakve završnice.  sem prvog puta i kada sam napravila ove slike, nisam ga nosila samog jer je meni ovo tipična boja za starije godpođe. nosila sam ga uglavnom kako su ga u essence i zamislili, kao bazu za crni crackle,  a kombinaciju sa sunđerom ste mogli da vidite ovde.

it was that time when i discovered that there are more colors other than black, but had no idea what i liked. i got both bases, and sparkling silver turned out to be in the color area i still wear, but with champagner i had no idea what i was thinking :)


it is a textbook example of a dirty pearly frosty polish. the colour really reminds of champagne. you can see brush strokes a lot, because of the finish. other than first time and when i took those pictures, i never wore it on it's own, since it is, at least for me, a typical older lady polish. i wore it a lot as it was expected, as a base for black crackle, a sponge crackle combo can be seen here.

essence prince charming over essence life is a freeride

u julskom new in/old out postu mogli ste da vidite sličice praznih bočica, a među njima je bio i essence life is a freeride. kada znam da poslednji put mažem neki lak, dajem mu specijalan tretman: obično ga nosim više od jednog dana :D i za kraj mu dodam i neki topper. ovaj put sam izabrala essence prince charming.

in july's new in/old out post, there was a picture of my empties, and one of those was essence life is a freeride. when i know that it's the end of a polish, i give it a special treatment: i usually wear it for more than one day :D and then spice it up with a topper. my choice for this one was essence prince charming.

mogli ste da vidite prince charming u kombinaciji preko aura techno ovde. sada vidim da sam prilično dosadna jer sam ga uparivala sa svetlo plavim lakovima. trebalo bi da počnem da se igram sa drugim baznim bojama, žuta mi prva pada na pamet, pa i srebrna, ali mi slobodno ostavite predloge!

uspela sam da iskapim bočicu essence life is a freeride tako brzo delom i zbog toga što mu treba tri sloja. nosila sam ga par dana pre nego što sam dodala princa, zato su mi vrhovi ponegde izlizani.  a sada, na slike!

you could see prince charming in a combination over aura techno here. i see now that i've been boring with pairing it up with light blues. i should probably start playing with other base colors. yellow is the first that comes to my mind, silver also, but feel free to give me suggestions!


i managed to empty the bottle of essence life is a freeride partly because it always needed three coats. here, i was wearing it for a couple of days before adding the prince, hence a bit of chipping can be seen. now, on to the pictures!

essence - caribbean sea (show your feet 01)

ovo je još jedan oproštajni post, ovaj put predstavljam essence - caribbean sea iz show your feet kolekcije.

this is another good bye post, this time, it's essence - caribbean sea from show your feet collection.

ovaj lak sam kupila prošlog leta, priznajem, najviše zbog imena. volela bih da mogu ovo da potvrdim iz iskustva, ali meni stvarno izgleda kao karipsko more. nijansa je orava morska plava sa zelenim podtonom, dok je završnica istovremeno i šimerasta, frosty i blago duohrom, nažalost, sa dosta vidljivih poteza četkice.

essence je već imao lak istog imena, moj je druga verzija. on je slabije pigmentovan i definitivno su mu potrebna tri sloja, što i čini poteze četkicom dosta izražajnijim, ali sam baš uživala noseći ovu bojicu da mu nisam previše zamerila dodatni trud.

i bought this polish last summer, and i have to admit, i did it mainly because of the name! i wish i can say it from experience, but i think it does look caribbean-y. the shade is sea blue with strong green undertone, and the finish is shimmery, frosty and a bit duochrome-y, unfortunately with quite visible brushstrokes.

essence had a polish with the same name before, so i have version no 2. this one is less pigmented, it really needs three coats, and this is what makes the brushstrokes more prominent, but i enjoyed this colour and didn't mind the extra effort that much.

essence - miss universe (colour & go 147)

pisanje o essence miss universe je bilo moja noćna mora! ovaj lak je toliko neverovatan, i spadao je, uz essence promberry, u grupicu koju sam nosila na putovanja, ali nikad nisam bila zadovoljna slikama jer mi se činilo da ne prikazuju njegovu pravu lepotu. pre nekoliko dana san iskapila bočicu, tako da sam morala da konačno izaberem slike.

making a post about essence's miss universe has been a nightmare for me! this polish is so gorgeous, it was one of my go to polishes, with essence promberry, but i was never ever satisfied with the pictures since i thought they couldn't show it's true beauty. couple of days ago, i finished the entire bottle, so i guess i had to pick some of the pics.

bazna boja je duboka plava, puna plavih i petrolej staklastih šljokica. moj jedini problem s ovim lakom je neočekivana prozirnost: tri sloja su neophodna da bi se postigla dubina s kojom izgleda fantastično. ipak, toliko volim ovaj lak da sam mu oprostila taj dodatni sloj jer je konačni rezultat magičan i svemirski.

razmatrala sam kupovinu essie dive bar, jer ih smatraju sličnim, ali kad god gledam njegove svočeve, nekako mi je razočaravajući posle miss universe. šta vi mislite? jedini razlog zašto, za sada, neću opet kupiti mu je jer želim da dam i nekim drugim lakovima šansu, a ne da mažem mu jednom nedeljno!

the base colour is deep blue full of blue and teal glass flecks. my only problem was the unexpected sheerness-it really needs three coats to reach the amazing level of depth. but, i was so in love with it that i didn't really mind adding another coat, since the end result was magical and space-y.


i considered buying essie dive bar, since they should be similar, but whenever i look at it's swatches, it's somewhat underwhelming comparing to miss universe. what do you think? the only reason i'm not re-buying mu for the time being is because i want to give some other polishes a chance instead of wearing this one once a week!

essence prom-berry (colour & go 148)

prom-berry (color&go 148)  je jedan od novijih lakova u osnovnoj essence kolekciji.


malo je čudno da tek sad predstavljam ovaj lak, jer sam ga kupila još u februaru a ovo će biti poslednji put da ga imam na noktima jer sam već iskapila bočicu!

prom-berry (color&go 148) is one of the newer additions to the essence's core collection.

it is a bit strange that i'm showing the pics just now, since i bought it in back in february, and this is the last time i'll get to wear it, since the bottle is finished!

verovatno je malo čudno da sam nosila ovaj lak toliko puta u poslednjih par meseci, ali ovo je bio moj standardni lak, zajedno sa još nekoliko essence, koje sam nosila sa sobom na putovanja, a i često mi je bio i na  nogama.

generalno volim ovakve tamno ljubičaste lakove sa šimerom. kod prom-berry, šimer je sitan plavi i crveni koji baš oživi na direktnom suncu, dok u senci i nije toliko izražen. zato mi je i bilo teško da ga uslikam tako da se vidi sva njegova lepota, otud ga i tako kasno predstavljam.

formula je bila ok, ništa problematično, i nemam neke zamerke. ipak, neću ga kupiti ponovo jer imam već nešto slično, nyx purple ink.

it's maybe weird that i wore this polish so many times in a couple of months, but it was, together with a few more essences, my go to polish on work trips, and i also wore it on my toes quite often.


i am a big fan of those dark purple polishes with shimmer. this one has blue and red microshimmer that really comes to life in direct sun, but it's not that visible in shade. because of that, i had hard time photographing it so that all of its beauty is shown, hence the delay in swatching.

formula was ok, nothing problematic and i don't have any complaints. i will not re-buy it since i have something similar, nyx purple ink.

essence - grumpy (snow white le)

grumpy je moj glavni lak za podizanje raspoloženja! pojavio se kao deo essence snow white le koja je imala dosta zanimljivih nijansi, ali, sem grumpy-ja uzela sam samo topere prince charming and the huntsman.

grumpy is THE polish to cheer me up! it was a part of essence's snow white le that had quite a few interesting polishes, but, other than grumpy, i took only the toppers: prince charming and the huntsman.

ovu nijansu samo malo deli od toga da bude najelektričnija električna plava koju možete naći. sve vezano za njega je odlično: fantastična formula, četkica po mom ukusu, ima visok sjaj i bez nadlaka i, iznenađujuće, ni jednom mi nije isflekao nokte.

po mom mišljenju, ovaj lak bolje izgleda na bleđoj koži. žao mi je šno ga ni jednom nisam uslikala zimi, kad sam bila skoro providna, pošto mnogo lako crnim i sad sam već za 5 nijansi tamnija samo od jutarnjeg trčanja.

this is only one tiny shade away of being the most electric electric blue polish you could ever find.  everything about it is great: amazing formula, brush was quite nice, it had  high shine even without topcoat and, surprisingly, it never stained my nails. 

in my opinion, i think it looks better on more pale skin. i'm sad i never photographed it during the winter, when i'm almost transparent, since i tan like crazy and my hands already look 5 shades darker only from my morning runs!

essence - mojito green (soul sista le)

za današnji tematski petak treba da predstavimo naš omiljeni prolećni lak. zvuči čudno, ali od samog početka sam znala da će to biti savršeni mojito green iz essence soul sista kolekcije od prošlog proleća.

today's topic for our theme friday is "favourite spring polish". weirdly, from the start i had only one polish in mind and that's insanely beautiful mojito green, from the essence's soul sista le collection from last spring.

ima nešto u ovom laku što čini da poželim da ga čuvam do večnosti :D on je savršena jako zelena nijansa koja naginje ka mintu, i uživo je za par nijansi zeleniji nego na slikama. ne samo da je nijansa savršena, ali ima i predivan zlatkasti šimer u tačno pravoj količini: dovoljno da se vidi pri svakom osvetljenju ali i ne i toliko da dominira.

iako od početka polušavam da mu nađem dupe, jer se iskreno bojim trenutka kada ću videti dno ovoj bočici, ali ne ide. slični lakovi su ili previše zeleni ili previše mint; ili bez šimera ila sa previše istog (poput depend 227). žao mi je da nisam uspela da uhvatim apsolutno vernu nijansu, jer imam utisak da je baš ta kap ili dve zelene, to što ovaj lak izdvaja od mnogih sličnih. ko zna, možda u budućnosti i nađem neki kojim ću biti zadovoljna.

there is something about this polish that makes me want to save it for the whole eternity :D. it a gorgeous green-leaning mint, that is a bit greener in real life than in the pictures. apart from the insanely pretty color, it has gorgeous golden shimmer in just the right amount, enough to be visible even in shade but not too overwhelming.


i tried so hard to find a dupe for it, since i'm scared of the moment when the bottle becomes empty, but other polishes are either too minty or too green, or without shimmer or with too much of it (like depend 227). i'm really sad that i couldn't capture the exact shade, because i think that this additional drop of two of green are what makes this polish vibrant and amazing. oh, well, maybe i'll find something that can compare in the future.

comparison: essence blue addicted vs essence cold breeze (over essie midnight cami)

u mom poslednjem postu, spomenula sam da je moja bočica essence blue addicted potrošena :( od kad sam kupila njihov nadlak cool breeze, imala sam ideju da, uz odgovarajuću baznu boju, može da se dobije sličan efekat. odlučila sam da ga namažem preko essie midnight cami, pa da vidimo rezultat.

in my last post, i mentioned that my bottle of essence blue addicted is finished :( and, ever since i got their cool breeze topper, i had an idea that, with a proper base color, it could make a similar effect. i chose to wear it over essie midnight cami, so let's see what i got.

na svim slikama, blue addicted je na kažiprstu i srednjem prstu, a kombinacija cool breeze + midnight cami na srednjem i malom.

može se primetiti da cool breeze nema sitne svetloplave šljokice, već žute slične veličine. velike šestougaone oplaescentne šljokice su iste u oba laka.


tako da, ova kombinacija nije baš identična sa blue addicted, ali se može reći da liči. naravno, prisutan je i problem očigledne razlike između šljokičavog nadlaka i šljokičavog laka na površini nokta,

in all the pictures, blue addicted is on the index and ring finger, and the cool breeze + midnight cami combo on the middle and little finger.

as you can see, cool breeze doesn't have the small light blue glitter, but some yellow glitter of similar size. the large hexagonal opalescence ones are the same in both polishes.

so, bottom line, it's not really a dupe to blue addicted, but it kind of looks like it. and, of course, there's always that issue that you can always see, from the surface, if it is a topper or a glittery polish.

prošle nedelje sam odjednom poželela da mažem essence blue addicted, i potpuno sam se iznenadila kad sam shvatila da će mi ovo biti poslenji put da ga mažem, jer mi je bočica prazna.

last week, i really wanted to wear essence blue addicted, and i got really surprised when i realized that  this will be the last time, since the bottle was almost empty,

stvarno volim ovaj lak, i žao mi je da su ga povukli i što mi je bočica sada prazna. čak sam morala da ga okrećem da bih izvukla dovoljno da pristojno namažem.

ovo je stvarno prelep lak. bazna boja je teget jelly, sa dosta plavih i zelenih šestougaonih šljokica i sitnim plavim mikrošljokicama. formula je malo komplikovana, i trebaju mu tri sloja za potpunu pokrivenost, ali je konačni efekat vredan truda.


naravno da sam morala da ga matiram, što se može videti na slikama na kraju posta.

i really love this polish, and i'm truly sad that it's discontinued and that my bottle is empty now. i even had to turn it upside down in order to get enough of it.

it really is a gorgeous shade. the base color is navy blue jelly, with a lot of blue and green hexagonal glitter with tiny blue microglitter. formula is a bit tricky, it needs three coats in order to be completely opaque, but the end result is worth a bit of trouble.

of course, i had to mattify it, which an be seen in the pictures at the end of the page.

i was going through my unpublished pictures and found out that i never made a post about this sponge crackle manicure, using essence crack me! black over sparkling champagner, that i made back in december.

htela sam da isprobam ovu tehniku od kad sam je videla na colorsofmynails blogu. na kraju sam napravila i istu kombinaciju boja kao ona, ali to nije bilo u planu. namazala sam essence sparkling champagner, ali je moj btgnts bio pri kraju a ja uporna da potrošim i poslednju kap, i kao rezultat sam dobila poneki mehurić. pošto mi se nije menjao lak, rešila sam da zamaskiram štetu ovim interesantnom tehnikom, gde crackle lak nanosite sunđerom. sviđa mi se rezultat, i sigurno ću ponoviti sa drugom kombinacijom boja.

i've been meaning to do this technique ever since i saw it in colorsofmynails blog. it seems that i did the similar color combo as her, but this wasn't really the plan: i intended to wear sparkling champagner, but my btgn top sealer was at it's finish but i was persistent to use even the last drop, and as a result, i got a few bubbles after drying. i wasn't in the mood to change the polish, so i decided to mask it with this interesting approach, where you apply crackle polish with a sponge. i like the result, and i will definitely do it again with different color combos.

essence cool breeze (special effect topper 16) over essie midnigh cami

toliko sam zaljubljena u novi essence topper, cool breeze, da ga nosim po drugi put u poslednjih par nedelja.

i'm completely in love with essence's new topper, cool breeze, that i'm wearing for the second time in the last couple of weeks.

ljuspice se nalaze u providnoj bazi, i većina je šestougaona, sa dodatnim manjim šestougaonicima. oduševljena sam efektom koji daje ovaj lak i ne mogu da prestanem da gledam u nokte! ljuspice se prelivaju u bojama od tirkizne do ljubičaste, dok ove manje uglavnom izgledaju zlatno. formula je iznenađujuće dobra, možda malo gušća sli prilično jednostavna za korišćenje.

najbolje izgleda preko tamnih lakova, zbog refleksije i kontrasta, tako da sam kao bazu izabrala essie midnight cami.

prirodna svetlost:

flakies are suspended in a clear base, and the majority is hexagonal, with additional smaller hexagons. i really love the effect this polish gives, i can't stop looking at my nails. the flakies transform from turquoise to even purple, while the smaller ones usually look loke gold particles. the formula was surprisingly good, maybe a bit thick but really easy to work with.

it goes best over dark shades, because of the contrast and reflection, so i used essie midnight cami as a base.
