i love dance legend, especially  their holos, but the velvet mini collection was also pretty awesome. i showed number 10 a while ago, and now it's time for number 6.

the shade is an awesome, vivid turquoise blue, a tad more green in real life than in the photos. the finish is satin-type of matte, due to the interesting, tiny silver shimmer. 

even though it's matte, the formula is awesome and it dries very quickly.

while i'm on the subject of polishes that are hard to capture, say hello to gosh's ocean, that i won on cayca's giveaway ages ago. i almost finished the polish but i'm just now showing it. 

it is one of the polishes that gets mentioned as a close enough dupe for chanel azure. gosh is a danish brand so not so easy to catch, therefore i don't have no idea if it is supposed to be more accessible than the chanel one.

it is a very pretty (mostly) turquoise duochrome, that shifts through many ranges of blue and green, depending on the light. it also has a touch of iridescent effect on it. brushstrokes are there, but not overwhelming. a perfect summer polish!

promo slika ovog laka je deleko od verne. rekla bih da su tirkizne/svetlo plave i mint nijanse nešto što u picture polish svetu prave savršeno i uvek se svakim lakom oduševim, pa ni salt water nije bio izuzetak.

u pitanju je prelepa tirkizna, ispunjena holo šesticama koje su skoro kao ljuspice. to mi je omiljeni dodatak nijansama, i mislim da savršeno idu uz ovakvu tirkiznu nijansu. definitivno preporučujem ovaj lak.

the promo pictures of this polish don't do it justice. i believe that turquoise/light blue/mint shades are really something that picture polish people know how to make and i am always looking forward to a new one, and salt water is no exception.

it's a lovely shade of turquoise, filled with those holo particles that almost look like flakies. i am obsessed with those, and i think that they are complementing the turquoise shade beautifully. i highly recommend this one!

 whispering waves je neobičan lak u a england porodici. vrlo živahna boja koja zaista odudara od standarnih adininih ideja.

potpuno sam poludela za ovim lakom, a i jasno je zašto. nijansa je svetla, živa tirkizna, sa blagim duohrom efektom i finim holo česticama, onaj a negland stil gde izgleda kao da šimer lebdi na površini nokta.

iako je formula tipično a england savršenstvo, na žalost boji nokte, pa preporučujem dva sloja baze.

whispering waves is the odd polish in a england family. it is a very vibrant color and it really stands out from adina's usual range.

i am completely in love with it though. and what's not to love! the shade is a bright turquoise, with a slight duochrome effect and a fine holo finish, one of those where it seems like the shimmer is floating on the surface.

while the formula is typically awesome, it is a stainer, so i recommend two layers of base coat.

my pick of the day is the gorgeous yodel me on my cell from opi's swiss collection back in fall 2010.

rekla bih da je yodel me on my cell nezasluženo zanemaren lak. nekako je udavljen u moru sličnih plavih lakova, ali ja ga smatram odličnim ulovom.

bazna boja je plava koja naginje na tirkiznu, uz dodatak svetlijeg šimera i iridescentnih ljuspica koje mu daju onaj izgled "sjaja iznutra". baš sam bila pozitivno iznenađena kako dobro izgleda. formula je takože solidna, tako da je ovaj lak za mene pun pogodak!

i have a feeling that yodel me on my cell is such an overlooked polish. somehow it's drowned in the sea of blue polishes, but i think that it's quite a catch.

the base colour is turquoise-leaning blue, combined with lighter shimmer and kind of iridescent small flakies that gives the polish that "glow from the inside" kind of look. i was surprised at how good it looks. formula is also decent and to me, this polish is a winner!

atlantis je prvo bio limitirano izdanje, ali se probio kao lak u osnovnoj kolekciji. u tom međuperiodu, bio mi je tiha patnja. i onda, dobijem sms od marry koja ga je ulovila i za mene na sajmu kozmetike u beogradu! bukvalno sam skakala po kući od uzbuđenja!

pokazujem ga tek sad jer nikad nisam bila zadovoljna slikama. kada su u pitanju lakovi poput ovog, nije lako prikazati ih u svoj njihovoj lepoti.

atlantis je tirkizni žele sa holo šljokicama. prilično je transparentan, pa nije loše imati bazu u boji ispod njega, mada se meni najviše sviđa ovako, sa tri sloja. suši se pomalo grupo, pa je nadlak obavezan.

starting as a limited edition polish, it made its way into the core collection. in this in between period, it was a huge lemming of mine. then, i got an sms from marry that spotted it at the cosmetics' fair in belgrade and got one for me! i was jumping around the room from excitement.

i am showing it only now, because i was never happy with the photos. when it comes to polishes like this one, it is hard to present them in their true beauty.

atlantis is an turquoise jell base filled with holo glitter. it is quite see trough and it benefits from a coloured base, but i prefer it like this, with three coats. it dries a bit gritty, so a top coat is a must.

lak je prelep, zaista prelep! divan duohrom, uglavnom tirkizni koji se preliva u druge nijanse plave. uz to, tu su i male holo čestice, u potpuno odgovarajućoj količini, da ne preuzmu primat nad primarnim efektom laka.

formula je isto odlična, tako da je ovaj lak po meni pun pogodak! uz to, i prsten je baš po mom ukusu i često ga nosim.

this polish is gorgeous, just gorgeous! amazing duochrome, mostly turquoise but leaning to other shades of blue. there is also some tiny holographic glitter, in just the right amount, not to overwhelm the polish.

formula is also nice, and, overall, a beautiful, magical shade that i'm in love with. and i wear the ring really often!

jedan od mojih najnovijih lakova je još jedna picture polish kolaboracija, unicorn.

one of my latest purchases is another picture polish collaboration shade, unicorn.

ovaj lepotan je napravljen u saradnji sa blogom brit nails, i stvarno je interesantan lak. bazna boja je nežna, plavkasto tirkizna obogaćena roze i srebrnim šljokicama.

pošto su šljokice krupne, suši se blago hrapavo, ali nije grudvast i to mu čak daje neku simpatičnu notu. prvi sloj nije preterano pigmentovan, ali je pokrivenost potpuno sređena drugim.

this shade is made in collaboration with the blog brit nails. it is a really interesting polish, the base colour is a soft, blue leaning turquoise, enriched with pink and silver glitter.

there is a slight bumpiness because of the chunky glitter, but it is not overwhelming and it is actually interesting. the first layer is a bit sheer, but it builds up nicely with the second.

oduševljena sam što mogu da vam pokažem fool's gold, još jednu nijansu koju picture polish pravi u saradnji s blogerkama.

kada sam videla nove nijanse, iako sam odmah želela sva 4, fool's gols je bio ljubav na prvi pogled, nastao je u kolaboraciji sa sam sa bloga the nailasaurus. njena inspiracija je bila "komadići zlata, kada ih gledate kroz duboku, tropsku vodu" i mislim da izgleda baš tako!

bazna boja je tirkizna (moj aparat ima problem sa takvim nijansama, uvek ispadnu plavlje), sa zlatnim šljokicama i šimerom. pravi lapotan! formula je fantastična, suši se glatko tako da mu ne trebaju dodatni slojevi nadlaka za lepu uglačanost. još jedan plus je i što nisu potrebne specijalne tehnike za skidanje, jer šljokice spadaju gotovo bez problema.

when i saw the new collaboration shades, although i immediately wanted all 4, fool's gold was a instant love. it was made in collaboration with sam from the nailasaurus. her inspiration was "flecks of gold as seen through deep, tropical waters", and i think it turned out exactly as that!

the base colour is turquoise (my camera has a problem with these shades, they always look more blue), with gold glitter and shimmer. it is a stunner! formula is amazing, it dries smoothly so it doesn't need extra layers of top coat to look nice, and another plus side is that you don't need the special techniques to remove it, the glitter goes off almost effortlessly.

uz svu pixie dust pomamu, mislim da je vreme da prikažem zoya lak iz neke druge kolekcije. ovaj put je izbor pao na lak zuza iz njihove surf kolekcije za leto 2012.

after all the pixie dust craze, it's about time to show one of the zoyas from different collections. this time i'm presenting zuza from their surf collection for summer 2012.

u zoya-i imaju stvarno dobro oko kad opisuju svoje lakove, pa ću da to sikoristim. zuza je "duboka, bogata morsko tirkizna boja sa zlatnim i srebrnim metalik šimerom i folijastom završnicom. odlična nijansa za plažu sa savršenim balansom između plave i zelene".

na mojim slikama ispada za nijansu plavlje nego uživo. definitivno nemam ništa slično, stvarno je interesantan lak sa fantastičnom formulom.

well, guys at zoya are doing a great job about describing their polishes, so i'm just going to quote them. zuza is a "deep, saturated, oceanic turquoise with gold and silver metallic shimmer and a foil-like finish. a beachy, colorful, foil-like shade with the perfect balance between blue and green".

in my pictures, it is a tad more blue that in real life. it is like nothing i own, it is really interesting polish with a fantastic formula.

ovi neverovatno vrući dani savršeno idu uz china glaze turned up turquoise iz njihove ink kolekcije za leto 2008, čiji je deo i klasik, flying dragon.

these excruciatingly hot days are perfect for wearing china glaze's turned up turquoise from their ink collection for summer 2008, that also gave us a classic in flying dragon.

odustajem od duge misije da uhvatim tačnu količinu tirkiznosti ovog laka, kao i mnoge druge napaćene duše pre mene. prikazaću dva najrazličitija rezultata, pri čemu je prvi bliži realnosti ali i dalje ne sasvim veran.

dok je mint postao moja prilično nova opsesija, tirkizni lakovi su bili na vrhu moje liste baš dugo. tut je živahan i morski a uz to neon i mat. taj efekat mi se toliko sviđa da za ovih više od godinu dana što ga imam, još se nisam zainteresovala da mu dodam nadlak.

moje iskustvo s neoncima nije veliko, ali moram reći da je formula kod ovog sasvim pristojma. prve dve slike su stare oko godinu dana, dok su ostale novije.

i give up on the long mission to capture the exact amount of turquoiseness of this shade, like many more poor souls before me. you can see selected two results, with the first one being more accurate, but still not right on the spot.

while my mint fascination started just recently, i am obsessed with turquoise for a long time now. and this one is vibrant and aqua-like while being neon and matte. i love it like this so much, that even though i own it at least for a year now, i still wasn't tempted to see how it looks with a top coat.

my experience with neons is not really vast, but i have to say that the formula of this one is not problematic at all. first two pictures are from a year ago, the rest are recent.

kao velika obožavateljka plavaca i ysl brenda, oduševilo me je što je njihova kolekcija za leto 2014, blues lumiere, sastavljena od dva plava laka. danas predstavljam bleu celadon.

as a huge fan of blue polishes and ysl, i was very excited that ysl's summer collection for 2013, blues lumiere, is a blue duo. today i'm showing bleu celadon.

ne znam odakle da počnem u pisanju hvalospeva ovom laku. boja je savršena, negde između porcelansko tirkizne i svetloplave, tako nežna i lepa. formula je savršena samoizjednačujuća krema, bez ikakvih mana iako izgleda kao jedan od onih lakova oko kojih se morate pomučiti.

izgleda da je po boji blizak neuhvatljivom chanel nouvelle vague. pošto na slikama na direktnom suncu izgleda mrvicu isprano, dodala sam i slike iz hlada.

i don't even know where to start in praising this polish. the color is amazing, somewhere between kind of porcelain turquoise and aqua blue, so soft and pretty. formula is a perfect creme, self leveling with no issues whatsoever, even though it looks like a polish that would be a torture to apply.

apparently, it is really close to the illusive chanel nouvelle vague. since it looks a little washed up in direct sunlight, i added pictures from shade.

ovo je još jedan pp lak iz njihove kolekcije u kojoj sarađuju sa blogerkama iz celog sveta. razlog zašto je kelly s bloga kelly's kolors izabrala ovakav lak, vidite ovde.

obožavam ovaj lak. bazna boja je jarko plavi/tirkizni jelly sa velikim holo šljokicama. pošto ima jelly završnicu, dva sloja nisu dovoljna za potpunu pokrivenost. ipak, meni se svideo  providnjikav pa sam ga tako i nosila. poslednja slika u postu je s dva sloja. sledeći dan sam bila u žurbi i nisam mogla da promenim lak, pa sam dodala treći sloj, i sve ostale slike su sa tri sloja,

i simply love it. it is a bright blue/turquoise jelly with large holographic glitter. since it is jelly, two coats are not sufficient for the full coverage, but i kind of liked it that way. the picture at the very bottom is with just two layers. i was in a rush the next day, so instead of taking this one off, i added another coat, so all the pictures are with three coats.

nyx mermaid green (core)

baš je dugo vremena prošlo od kad sam prikazala svoj prvi nyx lak (sea of cortez) od tri koja sam uzela u holandiji pre godinu dana, tako da je vreme za mermaid green.

it's been ages since i swatched first (sea of cortez) out of three nyx polishes that i got in the netherlands a year ago, so it's finally time for mermaid green.

pošto ne mogu da nađem nikakvu informaciju u kolekciji, verovatno je deo stalne postavke.

dok mi je boja zaista prelepa, i mislim da joj mermaid green ime odlično pristaje jer je skoro podjednako plava koliko i zelena, formula je baš loša. prilično je redak i ostavlja dosta ćelavih mesta, tako da mora da se maže u tri sloja, pa čak i tad ponekad da izgleda vodenasto. ipak sam ga dosta nosila, ali prvenstveno na nogama.

since i can't get any other info, i have to guess it is in the core collection.

while i really like the colour, and i think the name mermaid green fits it perfectly, since it is almost as much as green as it is blue, i really dislike the formula. it is thin and leaves a lot of bald spots, so it has to go with three coats, and even then can sometimes look watery. i did wear it quite a few times, but mainly on my toes.

dior saint tropez (croisette)

dior-ov saint tropez se prvo pojavio kao vrlo, vrlo limitirano izdanje 2011. za otvaranje njihovog butika u gradu po kom je dobio ime. pošto je lak privukao mnogo pažnje, rešili su da ga ponovo izbace kao deo croissete dua, zajedno sa riviera-om, za leto 2012, mada ponovo kao limitiran.

dior's saint tropez appeared as a really, really limited edition polish for the opening of the dior's store in the city it got it's name from in 2011. because it turned out to be so popular, it was released again in the croisette collection for the summer of 2012, together with riviera, but again as a le polish.

skoro da sam digla ruke da ću ga nabaviti, pre skoro godinu dana, jedna od lakoholičarki s foruma mi je uspela da ga ulovi (c, hvala još jednom!)

po mom mišljenju, vrlo je jasno zašto je ovaj lak toliko popularan. boja je tirkizna, konkretno, tiffany plava sa kapljicom zelene, uz dior-ov poznati, jedva vidljivi mikrošimer. iako sam samo prošla kroz st tropez, jasno mi je odakle inspiracija.

formula je takođe odlična, ravnomerna sa lakim nanošenjem. iako ima dosta morski plavih lakova, ovaj ipak ima "to nešto" po čemu se izdvaja, i dobila sam baš dosta komplimenata za njega. čini mi se da izgleda bolje na kraćim noktima.

if you ask me, it is really obvious why this polish is so popular. the colour is turquoise (in this case, tiffany blue with a drop of green), with the dior's famous, barely noticeable microshimmer. i've just passed through st tropez, but i can see the inspiration here.

the formula is also great, self-leveling and easy to apply. even though there are so many aqua blue polishes, this one has that special spark, and i really got a lot of compliments for this one, and i think it looks better on shorter nails.

lakovi picture polish kolekcije napravljene u saradnji sa raznim blogerkama imaju tu osobinu da su često toliko neobični da ih moj jadni aparat ne može ni približno dobro da dočara. verujte mi, i pshiit, stvoren od strane camille s pshiiit.com (posetite ovaj blog, ima prelepe manikire i fotke) je jedan od njih.

picture polish collaboration shades have that habit of being too gorgeous to be captured faithfully by my sad little camera. trust me, pshiiit, the polish created by camille from pshiiit.com, is one of those shades.  this is one gorgeous blog, with amazing manicures and pictures.

za pshiiit nije dovoljno reći da je prelep. nosila sam ga tri puta, i moj aparat odbija da uhvati prelepu zelenu prirodu ovog laka-kameleona, tako da ste uskraćeni za jedno njegovo lice.

bazna je vrlo pigmentovana tirkizna jelly duohrom (u bočici izgleda zelenije), sa zelenim šimerom i ljuspicama. veoma upada u oči (nosila sam ga na jednoj žurci, i kad sam gledala zvanične slike, moji nokti baš upadaju u oči :D ), i stvarno je neopisivo lepši uživo.

to call pshiiit beautiful would be an understatement. i wore it three times, and my camera refuses to pick up the gorgeous green nature of this chameleon, so you can see just one aspect of it.

the base color is a highly saturated turquoise jelly duochrome (looks greener in the bottle), with green shimmer and flakes. it's vibrant, eye-catching (i went clubbing with it, and when i saw official photos from the event, my nails really stand out :D) and simply gorgeous, pictures don't do it justice.

mislim da se može reći da su plavci iz chanel-ove letnje kolekcije l’eté papillon de chanel, bel argus i azure, lakovi o kojima se najviše pričalo ove godine. zvezda današnjeg posta je azure.

i guess it can be said that blues from chanel's summer collection l’eté papillon de chanel, bel argus and azure, are THE most talked about polishes this year. the star of today's post is azure.

do sada smo svi shvatili da obožavam plavce u svim varijantama nijansi i završnica. u ovaj duo sam se zaljubila u trenutku kad sam videla prve slike bočica i znala sam da mogu da ih kupim i na slepo, ali sam nekako mislila da me neće ostaviti bez daha, nakon što sam kolekciji dodavala plavac za plavcem. o, kako sam pogrešila!

azure je tirkizno duohrom savršenstvo, prava nijansa paunovog pera. prosto doziva leto, plažu i talase. duohrom efekat nije preintenzivan, ali sasvim dovoljan da me mami da gledam u nokte pod različitim uglovima, pošto je metalik, ima poneka vidljiva linija četkicem ali ništa preterano.

verujem da je svima dosta čitanja o azure, tako da prelazim na slike, i biće ih gomila. prirodna svetlost:

we all know by now that i'm a huge fan of blues in all the shades and finishes possible. i loved this duo ever since i saw the promo pictures and knew i could buy them blindly, but somehow thought that, after piling up one blue polish after another, they will not leave me breathless. boy, how was i wrong!

azure is a turquoise duochrome perfection, a true peacock shade. it screams summer, beach and waves. duochrome effect isn't insanely strong, but just enough for me to keep glancing at my nails at different angles. since it is metallic, there are some brushstrokes, but nothing too bad.

na redu je još jedan oproštajni post, ovaj put je to miss sporty 346 china glaze iz clubbing colors kolekcije.

once again, i'm writing a goodbye post, and this time it's for miss sporty 346 china glaze polish from clubbing color collection.

boju je gotovo nemoguće uhvatiti. na prirodnoj svetlosti ispada plavičast, a boja je u stvari više tirkizna, ili, kako ja volim da je zovem, morska zelena. iznenađujuće, boja je prilično verna na promo slikama. volim miss sporty četkice, dovoljno su široke za moj ukus i lak se lako nanosi. potpuna pokrivenost se dobija sa dva sloja.

slike pod veštačkim svetlom su bliže realnosti, takoda će ovaj put njih biti više.

the color is almost impossible to photograph. it turns out bluish in natural light, although in real life the color is closer to turquoise or, as i like to call it, sea green. the promo picture is accurate, wierdly enough. i love miss sporty brush, it is wide and the polish applies nicely, with the full opacity after two layers.


the artificial light photos are closer to the reality, so i'm showing more of those.

aura - techno

aura techno je neverovatno proziran tirkizni lak koji je bio deo novogodišnje kolekcije. uzela sam ga negde u decembru, kad sam ga i namazala prvi i jedini put. sećam se da mi ni tri sloja nisu bila dovoljna za potpunu pokrivenost. pošto ga od tad nisam mazala, juče sam bila u raspoloženju za jedan mali eksperiment. nažalost, nekako sam uspela da izbrišem slike sa dva sloja laka (pokušaću da povratim slike sa kartice), ali je to u svakom slučaju bio jadan prizor! došla sam do čak četiri sloja ali se i dalje vidi nokat!

aura techno is an insanely shear turquoise polish with a glass flecked finish that i bought as a part of a new year collection back in december. i remember putting three coats and it still wasn't enough to be opaque. since i haven't tried this polish after that, yesterday i was in a mood for a little experiment. unfortunately, i somehow erased the pictures after two coats (i will try to retreive them later on today), but it was a bit sad to look at my nails like that, so i went as far as 4 coats, and still, there is a quite VNL.

miss sporty 60 hypnotic turquoise

miss sporty hypnotic turquoise je savršen letnji lak. tirkizna je u poslednjih par godina postala jedna od mojih omiljenih boja, ali ova nijansa mi se nekako odvaja jer se dobije odlična pokrivenost sa dva sloja.

miss sporty  hypnotic turquoise nailpolish is perfect for the summer. it is a rich, turquoise color that i love, and i love that you need two layers for perfect coverage.

nažalost, ovaj lak je udomljen u moje u prošlom postu opisano groblje lakova (bio mi je omiljeni morski lak prošle godine) i, po mojoj proceni, u bočici je ostalo za još 1-2 mazanja. mislim da ova nijansa ne može više da se nađe.

uspelo mi je da zakačim domali prst aparatom, ali nisam imala vremena da stignem da ga popravim (žurila sam na exit :D), tako da se vidi tačkica.

prirodna svetlost:

unfortunately, this nailpolish is a part of my nailpolish graveyard mentioned in my previoust post (it was my perfect polish for the seaside), and i think that the bottle containes material for only 1-2 applications. i believe that this shade is discontinued :(.
i somehow managed to damage the polish on the ring finger with my camera, and though i wanted to fix it, i was in a hurry (preparations for the exit festival :D), so there is a visible smudge on it.
natural light:
