nopi listen to you mom-ager (kardashian kolors)

kardashian kolors was nicole by opi's holiday collection back in 2011. i got a couple of polishes then, but just now got to showing listen to your mom-ager.

i love this polish. it is a royal blue jelly packed with blue, almost foil-like shimmer. even though it is quite old at this point, formula is still spot on. unfortunately, it is a stainer, even though i still get surprised by that when i wear it.

i am sure there are many dupes by now, but i don't have anything like this in my stash (yet!)

i am showing one of my favourites today, shoot for the maroon from nopi's 2012 collection.

when you have a lot of polishes, it happens that you kind of neglect some of them, but then you rediscover them and fall in love. i wore shoot for the maroon so many times this winter and i'm still not bored of it.

and how could i be, just look at this perfection! such a rich burgundy/purple shade with perfectly matched golden shimmer. it's a dream. it looks stunning both in shade and in the sun.

formula is also nice, it applies smoothly and nicely. such a gem of a polish.

kendall on the catwalk je jedan od mojih najstarijih lakova koji još čekaju na objavu. deo je kardashian kolors kolekcije za nicole by opi davne 2011te.

kendall on the catwalk is one of my oldest polishes that are waiting for the review. it was a part of the kardashian kolors collection for nicole by opi back in 2011.

kendall on the catwalk je baš zabavan lak. u jelly plavoj bazi su se skupile plave, ljubičaste i zelene šljokice. kombinacija boja je odlična i upečatljiva.

dobra vest je da su dva sloja dovoljna. suši se pomalo hrapavo pa je potreban nadlak, ali je jedan sloj dovoljan. naravno, smatram da sve šljokice moraju da se matiraju, kao što vidite na donje dve slike.

kendall on the catwalk is a really fun polish. blue, purple and green glitter are suspended in a blue jelly base. i love the glitter combination, it really pops out.

good news, two coats are enough. it dries a bit dull so it requires a top coat, but one layer is enough. of course, glitter should also be mattified, which i did in the pictures below.

layering nopi a million sparkles over ibd meteorite

a million sparkles je lak kog sam kupila relativno skoro, i koji je bio deo nicole by opi prolećne kolekcije, zajedno sa a lit-teal bit of love, shoot for the maroon (uzela sam i njega) i vio-let's talk about red. zainteresovao me je na prvi pogled.

a million sparkles is a polish i picked up a while ago, that was a part of nicole by opi spring collection together with a lit-teal bit of love, shoot for the maroon (i also got this one) and vio-let's talk about red. it caught my eye from the beggining.

imala sam veoma glupu ideju da probam da ga nosim samostalno (na ovoj slici je jedan sloj), ali sam shvatila da ne bih imala dovoljno dobru pokrivenost ni sa dva, čak ni tri sloja. ipak, dovoljno dobro se vidi da je ovaj lak u stvari kombinacija četiri vrste šljokica: fantastičnih crvenih pravougaonih, tanjih pravougaonih svetloplavih pravougaonika i okruglih šljokica i heksagonalnih zlatnih šljokica u providnoj bazi.

i had a stupid idea to wear it on its own (one coat), but realized there's no way it could be opaque with two or even three layers and gave up. but, this little experiments shows that this is a clear base packed with fantastic rectangular red bar glitter together, thinner bright blue bar and round glitter of the same color and small hexagonal golden glitter.

nakon toga, uzela sam ibd meteorite kao baznu boju, i baš mi se sviđa kako se slažu!

after that, i used ibd meteorite as the base polish. i love how these two get along!
