a england kalinka (russian soul)

uvek jedva čokam nove a england kolekcije, i potpuno sam se zaljubila  u najnoviju, russian soul. prvi kog pokazujem je kalinka.

i am always excited to see a new a england collection, and i fell in love with the newest one, russian soul. the first one i'm showing is kalinka.

kalinka je prosto predivna. nijansa je srebrnkasto/lila, nekako prefinjena i delikatna. holo efekat nije zaslepljujuć ali je i dalje vrlo, vrlo vidljiv. izvinjavam se za broj slika, ali prosto nisam mogla da odolim.

formula je, kao i uvek, besprekorna i lak je savršen i vrlo nosiv, rekla bih da ide uz sve. izgleda odlično čak i u senci, što možete da vidite na poslednje dve fotografije.

kalinka is simply gorgeous, it is a silvery lilac, such a delicate and pretty shade. holo effect is not crazy, but it is still very very visible. i apologize for the amount of pictures, but i just couldn't resist it.

formula is, as always, impeccable and the polish is so awesome and universal, it goes great with everything. it looks awesome in shade as well, as you can see in the last two photos.

holiday joy je bila zaista prelepa china glaze kolekcija iz 2012te. posle blue bells ring i winter holly, red je došao i na glistening snow.

holiday joy was a really awesome china glaze collection from back in 2012, and after blue bells ring and winter holly, i'm showing glistening snow.

mislim da su u china glaze "otkrili" teksturne lakove pre noge što su oni postali moderni, ali verovatno nisu bili toga svesni.

glistening snow ima šmirglastu strukturu zbog srebrnih i holo mikro čestica koje ga sastavljaju. holo efekat je nažalost jedva vidljiv na mojim slikama, i mnogo je lepši uživo.

formula je pristojna, dobila sam punu pokrivenost s dva sloja i ispostavilo se da mi ne treba folija da ga skinem.

i think that china glaze people invented textured polishes before they were a thing, but probably weren't aware of it.

glistening snow has this gritty texture, because it is made of silver and holo glitter. holo effect is, unfortunately, really drowned in my pictures and is much prettier in real life.

formula is decent, i got nice coverage with two layers and it turned out i didn't need aluminum foil to remove it.

nakon što sam prikazala i quartz i peridot iz chanel-ove illusions d'ombres kolekcije za jesen 2011, krajnje je vreme da prikažem i treći, graphite.

after showing quartz and peridot from chanel's illusions d'ombres collection for autumn 2011, it was about time to show the third one, graphite.

graphite je tamno srebrni lak, ali ovo je previše jednostavan način da se opiše tačna nijansa. u pitanju je metalik, folijast lak koji izgleda pomalo teksturno iako se suši potpuno glatko,

ovaj nebičan finiš mu daje dodatnu dubinu, pa u senci postaje više limen, skoro zelenkast. formula je odlična, do te mere da mi čak ni chanel četkica nije smetala.

graphite is a dark silver, but this is quite an oversimplification of its colour. it is a metallic, foily polish that looks a bit textured, while being perfectly smooth.

this unusual finish gives it more depth, so in shade it becomes more pewter-y, even greenish. formula is amazing, so much that even the chanel brush is not annoying me.

vreme je za još jednog starojka, your royal shine-ness  iz dalekog leta 2011 kada je opi izbacio serena glam slam england kolekciju.

it's again time for an oldie, your royal shine-ness from way back in the summer of 2011, when opi's serena glam slam england collection was released.

nakupila sam pozamašan broj srebrnih folija. tačnije tri, i to je verovatno previše, ali jedan od njih je zoya trixie, moj prvenac i lepotan, a drugi je novitet chanel intemporel. opi je definitiovno najnepotrebniji, ali zbog imena ne mogu da ga se otarasim tek tako.

u pitanju je srednje do tamno srebrna folija za vrlo dobrom formulom i bez tragova četkice. definitivno ne najjedinstveniji lak, ali ako nemate ništa slično, on je odličan izbor.

prirodna svetlost:

i acquired a fair share of silver foils. ok, i have three currently, and it might be too much, but one of them is zoya trixie, that was my first and it's a pretty little thing, the other is my newest addition, chanel intemporel. so, opi is definitely the unnecessary one, but i can't get rid of it because of the name.

it is a medium to dark silver foil with really good formula and zero brushstrokes. definitely not the most unique polish, but if you don't have anything similar, this one is an excellent choice.

vrlo lako sam mogla i da ga preskočim, jer nije da mi u kolekciji fale srebrni metalik lakovi. ipak nisam odolela, jer mi je prethodna chanel kupovina bila eastern light  u july 2014.

ja zaista obožavam metalik srebrne lakove! za mene, oni su savršeni party lakovi (pogotovo što najčešće nosim crno i ne bi mi škodilo malo sjaja). ovaj nije ništa teži (ali ni lakši) za upotrebu od njemu sličnih. sa dovoljno tankim slojevima i uz malo brzine, možete izbeći vidljive poteze četkicom.

i could've easily skipped this one. it's not like my collection is lacking metallic silvers, but i couldn't resist since my last chanel purchase was eastern light back in july 2014.

but i really do like metallic silvers. for me, they are perfect party polishes (especially since i wear black most of the time, and need some extra sparkle). this one is no more difficult (nor easier) to use than the most of them, but with thin enough coats and quick hands, you can avoid a lot of brushstrokes.

postoji nešto u a england lakovima što ih, bar meni, čini neodoljivim. lepotan dana je fonteyn is ballerina kolekcije.

there is something so beautiful about a england polishes, i just can't get enough of them. the beauty of the day is fonteyn from the ballerina collection.

već je dosta vremena prošlo od kad sam prikazala dancing with nureyev i encore margot iz ove kolekcije, pa je pravo vreme za ovog lepotana!

fonteyn je srebrnkasti holo lak sa lavandastim podtonom, sa standardno fantastičnom a england formulom. stvarno je savršen i elegantan, a neobičan.

it is a silvery holo with a hint of lavender, with a england signature amazing formula. it truly is amazingly lovely with being unusual!

danas pokazujem još jedan dijamant iz fenomenalne a england the legend kolekcije, i lak dana je ascalon.

moram da priznam da nisam bila potpuno svesna koliko je fantastičan ovaj lak dok mi nije bio na noktima. kao da nije bilo dovoljno napraviti fantastičan tamno sivi holo lak, pa mu je dodat i lavandast duohrom efekat. prelivanje boja je suptilno i nekako prirodno.

obožavam a england formulu i ovaj lak spada u grupu savršenih.

i have to admit i wasn't completely aware how awesome this polish is before i had it on my nails. like being a gorgeous grey holo polish wasn't enough, they added a lavander duochrome effect in the mix. the colour shift is subtle but really beautiful and somehow natural.

i am a superfan of a england's formula, and this one is no different.

danas je još jedan duohrom dan, i ovaj put predstavljam aurora borealis iz miss sporty metal flip kolekcije.

it's another duochrome day, and this time i'm showing aurora borealis from miss sporty metal flip collection.

čini mi se kao da je prošla večnost od kad sam dobila ovaj lak na cajinom blogodarivanju. bočicu sam skoro potrošila, ali sam uvek imala neki problem sa slikama; ili je bilo previše sunčano ili previše oblačno ili bih zaboravila aparat, ali sam sad zadovoljna.

već sam ovo spominjala, ali moram opet: nervira me što miss sporty lakovi nemaju imena na bočici, već morate da ih tražite na sajtu. to me baš frustrira.

ovaj lak je iz malo suptilnije duohrom porodice. nijansa je teška za opisivanje, srebrnkasto-lila sa šimerom, koja može da pređe u zelenkastu. efekat je mnogo očigledniji u bočici. tri sloja su neophodna za pokrivenost, a uvek imam osećaj da bih mogla da dodam još jedan.

nosila sam ga dosta, jer mi je nekako uvek bio izbor za situacije u kojima ne želim da mi nokti privlače pažnju, a opet mi treba neki efekat da ne budem samoj sebi dosadna. prošle nedelje sam otkrila da mi dobro stoji na papcima, tako da ću da ga koristim za pedikir.

it seems like forever since i got this one in cayca's giveaway. the bottle is almost empty, but something was always wrong with my pictures, either it was to sunny or to cloudy or i would forgot the camera, but i am happy with the pictures now.

i mentioned it before, but i have to say it again, i am frustrated that miss sporty people never put the polish name on the bottle, and then you have to search for it. simply annoying.

this polish is from a more subtle duochrome family. the shade is hard to describe, it is a shimmery silvery lillac that can shift towards green. the effect is much stronger in the bottle. it takes three layers for opacity, and i always have a feeling that i could add another one.

i wore it a lot, because it was sort of my go to polish when i didn't want my nails to stand out, but i still needed that extra something not to be bored. i discovered a week ago that it looks really good on my toes, so i'm going to finish the bottle in that style.

a england lakovi ne prestaju da me oduševljavaju. najnovija kolekcija, ballerina, se sastoji iz četiri prelepa, elegantna holo laka, a današka zvezda je encore margot.

a england polishes keep amazing me. the newest collection called ballerina is consisted of four beautiful but elegant holos, and today's star is encore margot.

lak je dobio ime po dami margot fonteyn, engleskinji koju smatraju jednom od najboljih klasičnih balerina. nijansa je idealna za dane kada se osećate kao ledena kraljica. ovo je srebrni lak sa izraženim linearnim holo efektom, koji iako je jak, zbog bazne boje lak ipak izgleda nežno i elegantno.

mislim da niko ne pravi holo lakove sa tako fantastičnom formulom kao a england, stvarno klize kao buter.

prirodna svetlost:

named after dame margot fonteyn, classical english ballerina, encore margot is a true ice queen shade. it is a strong, silver linear holo polish that looks metallic. even though the effect is strong, the base color stil makes it elegant and soft.

i don't think that anyone makes holos with such an amazing formula as a england, it really flows like butter.

a england excalibur revamped (the mythicals)

ovaj mesec završavam predstavljanjem prelepog laka excalibur (nova verzija) iz a england the mythicals kolekcije.

i will finish this month with the swatches of the gorgeous excalibur (the new version) from the a england's the mythicals collection.

volim da nosim lakove sa folijastom završnicom u jesen i zimu, i iako je vreme kod mene više prolećno, bez prave zime, ostajem verna ovakvim lakovima.

inspiracija za ime mi je jasna, sudeći po zvaničnom opisu: "čelično siva nijansa ispunjena šimerom različitih veličina, koji stvara fuziku srebrnog i zlatnog - nijansa koja se poklapa sa herojevom oštricom".

boja je teška za opisivanje, pošto je istovremeno i srebrna i zlatna, sa zrnastim, nepravilnim zlatnim ljuspicama. izgleda kao staro zlato, prekriveno patinom. po meni je prelepo, bogat, gladak i sa odličnom pokrivenošću.

slike su napravljene na direktnom svetlu i u senci.

i love wearing polishes with foil finish in the winter and autumn, so, even though the weather here is more of the spring kind, i'm staying loyal to these shades.

i can see the reason behind the name from the official description: "a steely grey hue filled with multi-dimensional shimmer, creating a unique fusion of silver and gold - a shade to match a hero's blade".

the colour is so hard to describe,  because it's both silver and gold, with grainy, irregular golden flakes. it has that old gold covered with patina feel. it's gorgeous, rich, with no brushstrokes and excellent opacity.

pictures were made under the direct sunlight and in shade.

zoya hazel (irresistible)

i just realized that this will be my last swatch of the year, and i like to think is great to finish it with a gorgeous polish such as zoya's hazel!

hazel is is beauty from zoya's spring collection irresistible. it has everything i like: the base colour that is definitely unique, an icy, steely blue with goldish flakes that i would never think would go well with the base, but they fit perfectly.

the finish is both foil and metallic, but there's no problem with application or brushstrokes. i am really impressed with this polish, it looks a bit space-y.

danas predstavljam opi on her majesty secret service iz skyfall kolekcije, i u ovom slučaju preporučujem da kliknete na slike i tako ih uvećate, da bi se videla cela njegova lepota!

opi kaže da ova "mistično-zelena kalajna nijansa zahteva pažnju". moram priznati da do sad nisam znala za nijansu kalaja :D ja ga vidim kao plavičastog brata the world is not enough, i podjednako nezgodnog za opisivanje. boja je hladna čelično plavo-srebrno-siva sa raznobojnim staklastim šimerom, uglavnom zlatnim, roze, zelenim i plavim.
nije previše pigmentovan i potrebna su mu tri sloja, opet kao kod njegovog blatnjavijeg brata, ali se pokrivenost i boja lepo nadograđuju.

dosta devojaka se žalilo na čudnjikav miris, ali moj je imao tipični miris običnog laka.

opi says that "this misty-green pewter commands attention." i see it as the world is not enough's bluish brother, and similarly difficult to describe. it is a cool toned steel blue-pewter-silver-grey polish with multicolored glass flecks, namely gold, pink, green, and blue.


it is rather sheer and needs three coats, again as its taupe brother :D, but the opacity and color build up nicely.


many girls said that it has a weird smell, but i didn't notice it with my bottle.

ne znam zašto sam zapostavljala  catrice purplelized, mislim da sam ga nosila  samo jednom od kad sam ga kupila pre godinu dana (a tad je negde i povučen). baš propust, jer je lak predivan!

i have no idea why i've been putting catrice's purplelized aside, i think i wore it only once since i bought it a year ago (and it's been discontinued for a while), and it's a shame because this polish is gorgeous!

 iako ima reč "ljubičasto" u imenu, ovo nije tipična ljubičasta, više je mešavina sa patlidžan nijansom i srebrnom. lak je prepun srebrnkastog šimera, koji može da izglea i plavo i rozikasto, u zavisnosti od ugla i svetlosti, i koji mu daje skoro metalik završnicu.

sad kad gledam slike, čini mi se da bi ovaj lak odlično izgledao matiran, ali sad je kasno da to isprobam. pošto je iz stare catrice linije, ima odličnu četkicu i solidnu formulu, što daje dodatne pluseve ovom laku.

even though it has a word "purple" in the name, this is not a typical purple shade. it's more of a purple-eggplant-silver mixture, packed with silvery shimmer that can look blue or pink, depending on the light and angle and it gives it almost a metallic look.

now that i'm looking at the pictures, i think it would look amazing with matte top coat, but that didn't occur to me when i wore the polish. since it is from the old catrice line, it has amazing brush and a solid formula, making this polish really special.

mislim da je krajnje vreme da okačim slike poslednjeg laka iz essence twilight: breaking dawn part 2 kolekcije, edward's love (jacob-a možete videti ovde, a alice ovde).

i guess it's about time to post swatches of the last polish i got from the essence le twilight: breaking dawn part 2, which is edward's love (you can see alice here and jacob here).

začuđujuće, ovaj lak mi je na kraju favorit od tri u kolekciji, iako mi je izgledao najmanje interesantan u bočici. bazna boja je crna, kombinacija kreme i sorbeta, sa srebrnim staklastim šimerom. kao i u slučaku ostala dva laka u ovoh kolekciji, formula je vrlo loša, lak je gust i  ume da "beži", ali se sa dva sloja dobija potpuna pokrivenost.

surprisingly, this polish turned out to be my favourite of the three, even though i liked it the least in the bottle. it is a black crelly with beautiful silver glass fleck, but again (for this collection), the formula is bad bad bad, thick and goopey at the same time, but it is completely opaque after two coats.

crackle: essence pearly pink over essence sparkly silver

još jedan set slika napravljenih pre nekoliko meseci (što se može primetiti i iz oblika mojih noktiju), ali bi od petka trebalo da se vratim na kolosek. essence pearly pink je njihov najnoviji lak iz cracking top coat kolekcije, ali ovaj ima mali zaokret: šljokičav je, sa roze šestougaonicima u roze bazi! i da, ovo je verovatno jedina kombinacija u kom će roze biti na mojim noktima.

another set of pictures from the vault (as can be seen from the shape of my nails), but i hope i'll start posting newer stuff as of friday. essence pearly pink is the newest polish from their cracking top coat range, but this one has a twist to it: it is actually a glitter, with pink hexagons in a pink base. and yes, this is probably the only type of pink i can tolerate on my nails.

kao baznu boju, upotrebila sam već spominjani  essence sparkling silver, sa kojim sam se i igrala. pretpostavljam da je ovo pomalo šljokičava bomba, ali mi se sviđa! perly pink je pomalo redak, ili barem meni tako deluje jer su mis svi ostali crckle lakovi dosta gušći. iz tog razloga, ako želite deblje slojeve, morate raditi brzo. i pukotine koje ostavlja su čudnjikave, napravi se par dugačkih rascepa po noktu.

as a base color, i used already mentioned essence sparkling silver, and played with another topper. i guess it is a bit of a glitter bomb, but i actually like it. pearly pink is a bit shear, or it seems that way to me since the majority of my crackle polishes are rather thick, so you have to work quickly if you want thicker layers. it also cracks weirdly, with a couple of longer cracks.

sledeći lak iz opi skyfall kolekcije koji predstavljam je  the world is not enough. opi ga opisuje kao roze srebrnog.

the next polish from opi's skyfall collection that i'm going to show is the world is not enough. opi's description: this rosy silver is as addictive as it is beautiful.

volela bih da znam kako da opišem ovu boju, pošto je zaista kameleon. za mene je on srebrnkasto-taupe baza sa rozikastim, braon, srebrnim i zlatnim krupnim šimerom. prvi sloj je prilično providan, sa drugim se već dobija dubina ali sam zbog slikanja rešila da stavim i treći. mislim da ću se sledeći put zadovoljiti i sa dva. ako izostavimo pokrivenost, formula je standardno dobra.

i wish i knew how to explain this color, because it really is a chameleon. i see it as a silvery taupe base with rosy pink, brown, silver and gold shimmer. first coat is somewhat sheer, but it gains depth with the second one. i decided on a third for the purpose of photographing, but i think i will use two in the future. other than being shear, formula is good as usual.

layering: essence hello holo over essence sparkling silver

bila sam u iskušenju da napravim još jedan post u nizu iz opijeve skyfall kolekcije, ali sam na kraju rešila da ipak malo promenim, tako da predstavljam šljokičavu holo bombu, essence hello holo preko essence sparkling silver.

i was tempted to post another swatch from opi's skyfall collection, but in the end decided to mix things up a little bit, so i present a glitter holo bomb, essence hello holo over essence sparkling silver.

već neko vreme sam se razmišljala kako da uparim hello holo (jednom sam ga čak nosila samostalno), i cajka je predložila srebrnu ili sivu kao bazu, pa sam ja izabrala essence sparkling silver, koji već sam po sebi šljašti. hello holo je prozirna baza prepuna holo šljokica, koje su prilično krupne i koliko god slojeva nadlaka da stavite, površina nikad neće biti potpuno ravna. bila sam u iskušenju da stavim dva sloja, ali sam se ipak zaustavila na prvom. mislila sam da će izgledati prilično trashy, ali sam na kraju bila zadovoljna kako je ispalo.

i was wondering for a some time how to pair hello holo ( i even wore it on its own once), and cajka suggested that it should look fine over silvers, so i chose already quite blingy essence sparkling silver. hello holo is actualy a clear base full of holo glitter particles, that are quite gritty and no matter how many layers of top coat you add, it will never be really smooth. i was tempted to put two coats of hello holo, but decided to stop after the first. i thought it would look trashier, but in the end, i am happy with the result!

23. theme friday: silver

gotov je i 23ći tematski petak: srebrno. učestvovala sam sa essence sparkling silver. od sutra počinje bordo nedelja!

essence sparkling silver (cracking base)

pošto je današnja boja za tematski petak srebrna, rešila sam da pokažem jedan od najstarijih lakova u mojoj kolekciji, essence-ov sparkling silver koji je bio deo cracking kolekcije kao bazni lak.

since today's color for the theme friday is silver, i decided to wear one of my oldest polishes in the collection, essence's sparkling silver that was released as a cracking base color.

često ovaj lak zovem mojom bling bling bojom :D sastavljen je od gustog mikro glitera u providnoj bazi, tako da mu trebaju dva deblja ili tri tanja sloja za potpunu prekrivenost. pošto je gliter baš sitan, nije toliko grub pod prstom, ali se i to rešava nadlakom. takođe, zbog toga nisu potrebne nikakve specijalne tehnike za njegovo skidanje.

moram da priznam da je ovaj lak dospeo na moju listu od "tri laka za odstrel" koje koristim u krugu naizmenično posle drugih lakova. razlog za to nije taj što ne volim ovaj lak, nego što mi se nakupilo nekoliko srebrnkastih nijansi, a pošto ovo nije boja koju nosim toliko često, nije mi porebno gomilanje. tako da, očekujte da vidite razne kombinacije sa toperima!

i often call this polish my bling bling color :) it is consisted of dense micro glitter in a clear base, so it needs two thicker or three thinner layers for full coverage. because the glitter is so small, it is not too gritty, but top coat evens out everything, and you also don't need any special techniques to remove it.



i have to confess that this polish is now on my "three polishes to use up" roster, since now i have a couple more of the silvery type polishes, and i definitely don't need that many since this is not a color that i use that often. because it is on the roster now, expect to see some layering combos with it in the future!

zoya trixie (extreme)

ponekad, dođe dan kada devojci treba malo "blinga" na noktima. pošto je danas takav dan, izabrala sam trixie iz zoya-ine extreme kolekcije (zajedno sa raven i purity).

sometimes, the day comes when a girl needs some bling on her nails, so for today, i chose zoya's trixie from the extreme collection (together with raven and purity).

zoya opisuje ovaj lak kao "divan svetlo srebrni lak koji ima  svetlucavi metalnim folijasti finiš". obožavam ovu nijansu srebrne! lak je fantastičan, veoma gust i ima metalni, gotovo stakleni finiš. lako se nanosi (kao i svi zoya lakovi generalno), ne ostavlja tragove četkice ali ima teksturu koja mu daje dodatnu draž. za potpunu pokrivenost je dovoljan jedan deblji sloj, ja iz navike uvek imam dva.

zoya describes this polish as a "stunning light silver with a sparkling metallic foil finish. a chic and edgy shade that adds a spark to your look". i couldn't agree more! the polish is amazing, very dense with a metallic, mirror-like sparkly finish. it applies without streaks, but with a bit of a textured finish and it is very opaque.
