opi honey ryder (bond girls)

i am still on board of the textured polishes bandwagon, and i really love opi's honey ryder from their bond girls collection.

honey ryder, named after the epitomic bond girl played by ursula andress, is a champagne gold shade. it has gold glitter in it, dries superfast and is a definite one coater. i would call it a festive shade, but i love to wear it when i'm in a (typical) all black outfit.

veliki sam ljubitelj teksturnog finiša i potpuno sam oduševljena ovim lakom.

night escape je duboko plava nijansa koja se vrlo brzo suši  u teksturnu završnicu. bogat je neverovano svetlucavim šimerom, zbog kog me podseća na zvezdano nebo. nekako je istovremeno i elegantan i malo agresivniji. srećna sam da ga nisam propustila.

i am a big fan of the texture finish, and i am completely in love with this polish.

night escape is a deep blue polish that very quickly dries to a textured finish. it is rich with this amazing sparkly glitter, it reminds me of a starry night. it is somehow both elegant and edgy. i am very happy i haven't missed out on it.

ysl savage pink (escape summer)

najnovija ysl kolekcija, escape summer, sadrži dva laka i danas predstavljam savage pink.

the newest ysl collection called escape summer has two polishes, and i am showing savage pink today.

obožavam i ysl kao brend i teksturne lakove generalno, tako da je ovo za mene definitivni pogodak. savage pink je više gold rose nego obična roze, pogotovo zbog finiša. jeste teksturac, ali sa dodatim finim holo šljokicama za efektniji izgled.

formula je odlična, uz malo pažnje lako može biti jednoslojac ali sam se ja odlučila za dva. stvarno sam oduševljena ovim lako,

i love both ysl as a brand and textured polishes in general, so this was a no miss for me. savage pink is more like a rose gold shade, especially because of the finish. it is a texture, but with added fine holographic glitter for a sparkier effect.

formula is great, with a bit of care you can go with one coat only, but i opted for two, it's gorgeous and sparkly and just perfect!

imam gomilu neobjavljenih dance legend postova, tako da počinjem sa frog princess iz njihove prve kolekcije sa anom gorelovom.

i have an overload of unpublished dance legend swatches, so i'm starting with frog princess (Царевна Лягушка) from the first anna gorelova collection.

jasno mi je zašto je ovaj lak povezan sa princezom žaba (žabljom princezom?). u pitanju je močvarno zelena jelly baza s raznovrsnim holo šljokicama i sitnim zlatnim.

odlučila sam se za dva deblja sloja za potpunu pokrivenost.  suši se sa teksturom ali sam odlučila da ne stavljam nadlak jer imam osećaj da bi ga ionako pojeo a opet ne bi imao visoki sjaj. a iskreno, meni se ovakvi lakovi više sviđaju bez nadlaka.

i really see how this polish can be associated with the frog princess: it is a swamp green jelly base filled with variety of holographic glitter and small gold glitter.

i went with two thicker coats for full coverage, and it dries gritty, like textured polishes. i decided not to go for a top coat, because i had a feeling it would still not be really glossy and, honestly, i liked the look without it.

vreme je za još jednog dance legend lepotana. nickel je moj jedini izbor iz sahara crystal kolekcije.

it's time for another dance legend beauty. nickel was my choice from the sahara crystal collection.

sahara crystal kolekcija se sastoji iz vrlo šljokičavih teksturaca. od svih njih, nickel mi je izgledao najzanimljivije.

zaista je čudna nijansa, recimo hladna baby plava uz belo zlato/srebrni šljokičavi odsjaj. izgleda kao da je izašao iz crtaća frozen!

iako je zaista teksturac, nije toliko grub kao većina koju sam probala. baš je jedinstven i zanimljiv.

sahara crystal is a collection of highly sparkly textured polishes. i found nickel to be the most interesting shade.

it really is strange. the shade is kind of a cold baby blue, with white gold/silvery sparkle. it looks like it just jumped out of frozen!

even though it truly is a textured one, it is not as rough as you would expect. it truly is an unique polish and i love it.

pošto ulazimo u prazničnu sezonu, china glaze holiday joy kolekcija mi odmah pada na pamet, i ovaj put biram lak angel wings.

as we are entering the holiday season, a polish from china glaze holiday joy collection seems to be a good choice, and i picked angel wings.

angel wings je definitivno zlatna verzija glistening snow.

ovaj lak je čisto zlato: zlatne šljokice, zlatne holo čestice, sve smućkano u providnu bazu. suši se vrlo brzu u hrapavi, teksturisani finiš. obično ne dodajem nadlak ovakvim lakovima jer ih obično "pojedu" a na kraju shvatim da mi se više sviđaju bez.

formula je dobra, vreme sušenja odlično i za mene je ovo odličan praznični lak.

angel wings is basically a gold version of glistening snow.

basically, this polish is gold all over: gold glitter, gold holo particles, all jumbled in a clear base. it dries really quickly in a gritty, textured finish. i don't add top coat to these types of polishes, they are usually a tc eaters and in the end i end up preferring them in their intended way.

formula is good,  drying time is great and i find it to be a perfect holiday polish!

holiday joy je bila zaista prelepa china glaze kolekcija iz 2012te. posle blue bells ring i winter holly, red je došao i na glistening snow.

holiday joy was a really awesome china glaze collection from back in 2012, and after blue bells ring and winter holly, i'm showing glistening snow.

mislim da su u china glaze "otkrili" teksturne lakove pre noge što su oni postali moderni, ali verovatno nisu bili toga svesni.

glistening snow ima šmirglastu strukturu zbog srebrnih i holo mikro čestica koje ga sastavljaju. holo efekat je nažalost jedva vidljiv na mojim slikama, i mnogo je lepši uživo.

formula je pristojna, dobila sam punu pokrivenost s dva sloja i ispostavilo se da mi ne treba folija da ga skinem.

i think that china glaze people invented textured polishes before they were a thing, but probably weren't aware of it.

glistening snow has this gritty texture, because it is made of silver and holo glitter. holo effect is, unfortunately, really drowned in my pictures and is much prettier in real life.

formula is decent, i got nice coverage with two layers and it turned out i didn't need aluminum foil to remove it.

ysl taupe graine (fall 2014)

konačno je vreme da pokažem drugog lepotana iz ysl jesenje kolekcije, taupe graine.

it's finally the time for me to show the second beauty from ysl fall collection, taupe graine.

već sam pokazala bleu galuchat (i oduševila se), ali mislim da mi se taupe graine još više sviđa, verovatno jer ima nekako kožni izgled.

u pitanju je tamnija nijansa braon, ali takva da nikad ne izgleda crno. teksturni efekat je prelep (naravno, ako ste fan istog, a ja definitivno jesam). suši se veoma brzo i izgleda pomalo luckasto ali ne ekstravagantno.

i already showed bleu galuchat (and loved it!), but i think i love taupe graine even more, probably because it really has this leathery look.

this is a darker shade of brown, but it never looks black. textured effect is just beautiful (if you are a fan to begin with, and i certainly am).  it dries really quickly and looks a bit edgy but not extravagant.

china glaze but of corpse (apocalypse of color)

it seems like forever since i bought a china glaze polish, but from the first available picture, i knew that but of corpse has to be a part of my collection. this gem is from this year's haloween collection, apocalypse of color.

i've never seen anything quite like this polish. the base colour is light green, with gold shimmer and black, grain-like glitter. it has a textured, matte finish that fits so well that i didn't even want to try to add a top coat. it even dries surprisingly fastly.

the formula is a bit difficult, since it is slightly thicker than your usual polish, but it's not that hard to work with. i am so obsessed with it, that i will probably buy it's reddish counterpart, i love your guts. i just love those naimes!

opi baby please come home (mariah carey holiday)

imam osećaj da sam zapostavila teksturce, pa sam odlučila da danas pokažem baby please come home iz opi mariah carey holiday kolekcije za 2013.

 i've kind of neglected texture polishes, so today i'm showing baby please come home from opi's mariah carey holiday collection for 2013.

pre nego što krenem da pričam o laku, moram da napomenem da nisam čula za neki sa depresivnijim imenom. ne znam marajinu pesmu koja je bila inspiracija, ali sigurno nije nešto veselo.

ipak, vidim zašto je ovaj lak deo praznične kolekcije, ili uopšte, zimske. jasno ga vidim uz velike, vunene džempere dok se pijucka čaj. nijansa je nežna lavanda sa istobojnim šljokicama. u pitanju je teksturac, ali sa metalnim izgledom, rešila sam da stavim nadlak na domali prst, iako smatram da teksturci treba da se nose kako je i namenjeo.

before i mention anything about the polish itself, i have to state that i've never heard of one with a more depressing name. don't know mariah's song that inspired it, but it has to be soooo not fun.

anyway, i can see how this polish is meant for holiday season, or more generally, winter. i can see it perfectly matched with big sweaters while sipping tea. it is a beautiful, soft lavender shade with glitter in matching colour. it is a textured polish, but with a metallic look. i decided to put top coat on the ring finger, even though i strongly believe that textures should be worn as that.

ysl bleu galuchat (fall 2014)

mislim da ysl duo za ovu jesen nije dobio dovoljno pažnje koju mislim da zaslužuje, moguće zbog toga što je pomama za teksturnom završnicom u opadanju. ipak, bleu galuchat je stvarno poseban lak.

i think that ysl duo for this fall didn't get as much attention as i think it deserves, maybe because the texture finish craze is at a decline, but i am seriously in love with bleu galuchat.

iako je teksturac, efekat u bleu galuchat je ipak dosta suptilniji, i daje mu nekako izgled kože. bazna boja je skoro pa teget, uz vrlo malo petrolej šimera koji je vidljiviji u bočici.

lak se do teksturnog finiša suši prilično brzo, i krajnji rezultat je prelep. iako poseduje klasičnu eleganciju kao taman lak, tekstura mu daje jedinstvenost koja ipak nije previše ekstravagantna.

even though that bleu galuchat is textured, it is a much subtler finish, giving a completely leathery look. the base colour is almost navy blue, and there is some barely visible teal shimmer.

it dries to this texture pretty quickly, and the end result is really beautiful. while it has the quality of having that classical edge of darker polishes, the texture gives it uniqueness that is still not too extravagant.

zoya chyna (pixie dust)

posle beatrix, liberty i vespa, vreme je za još jedan prelepi zoya pixie dust lak. u pitanju je chyna iz kolekcije za zimu 2013.

after beatrix, liberty and vespa, it's time for another gorgeous zoya's pixie dust shade, this time it's chyna from the winter 2013 collection.

skoro da sam preskočila ovaj lak i uzela sam ga tek u drugoj turi. mislila sam da, pošto je crven, nema šanse da će me oduševiti i grdno sam se prevarila!

lak je zaista prelep. bazna boja je bogata, tamno crvena koja se suši u teksturnu završnicu, sa svetlocrvenim šljokicama i sjajem koji prosto iskače iz baze. može da prođe kao jednoslojac, ali sam po navici namazala dva. formula i aplikacija su odlični, i suši se prilično brzo.

i almost skipped this one and got it in the second round. i thought, well, it's red, it's not like i'm going to be amazed by it. oh, how was i wrong!

this polish is super stunning. base colour is rich, dark red that dries into the textured finish, with light red glitter and sparkle that just pops out of it. it can be pulled off as a one coater, but i did two out of habit. formula and application are great, and drying time really fast!

kada sam videla kolekciju anna gorelova (ako niste još otkrile njen blog, obavezan klik) za dance legend, lebedushka mi je bio prvi izbor.

when i saw the collection by anna gorelova (if you haven't checked out her blog, do it!) for dance legend, lebedushka was among my instant favourites.

lak je nazvan po animiranom filmu "swan princess" (za kog nikad  nisam čula :D). stvarno mi je ukrao srce, nekako je istovremeno i moćan i mekan, a svakako jedinstven u mojoj kolekciji. formula i četkica su odlični, i brzo se suši.

teško je opisati nijansu, ali je u pitanju svetla, ledena plava sa šimerom i teksturnom završnicom. u mojim slikama, na suncu ispada isprano, tako da sam dodala nekoliko slika u senci.

the polish is named after an animated movie swan princess (that i never heard of :D). it really stole my heart, it is powerful and fluffy at the same time, definitely an unique polish in my collection. formula and brush are nice, and it dries quickly.

it is hard to describe the color, it is s light, icy blue with sparkle and a texture finish. in my photos, the strong, direct light makes it look washed out, so i added quite a few in shade. 

opi the impossible (mariah carey)

ne mogu da verujem da još nisam pokazala the impossible iz prošlogodišnje mariah carey kolekcije, pošto sam davno objavila can't let go i stay the night.

i can't believe that i still haven't shown the pictures of the impossible from last year's mariah carey collection, since i wrote about can't let go and stay the night a while ago.

ova kolekcija je bila prva kojom su uveli teksturnu završnicu. ovaj lak su opisali kao mat fuksiju sa zvezdastim konfetama.


za mene, ovo je više crvena nego fuksija, sa jelly formulom dok ne krene da se suši. ima rozikaste šestougaone šljokice i šimer. nažalost, ja imam mini koji je bez zvezdastih šljokica, koje su samo u velikim bočicama. iako sam se plašila nanošenja teksturaca mini četkicom, nije bilo apsolutno nikakvih problema, sa prosečnim vremenom sušenja od 20 min.

skoro sam opisala moju indiferentnost prema crvenim lakovima. situacija se malčice menja kada završnica nije kremasta, tj. dodajte mi šljoke i odmah sam srećnija!

this colection was the opi's introduction to the textured finish. their description of this one: "this matte fuchsia with star confetti will never give up".

to me, this is more red than fuchsia, with jelly-like formula before it dries. it has pink hexagonal glitter and shimmer. unfortunately, i have a mini, which doesn't have star glitter like the large bottles. even though i was scared of application of textured polishes with a mini brush, there was no problems whatsoever. average drying time was about 20 minutes.

i mentioned recently my indifference when it comes to red polishes. the situation is just a little bit different when the finish is not creme, just add me some glitter and i'm happier!

zoya beatrix (pixie dust summer)

beatrix is from the summer edition of zoya's pixie dust polishes. as usual, their description couldn't be more accurate: "tangerine metal sparkle in the exclusive zoya pixie dust textured, matte, foil twinkle formula".

i love everything about this polish, especially how the gold shimmer sparkles in this amazing vibrant orange base. i wore it three times this summer, the last time i took it to a 5 day festival, wore it the whole time, including the tent setting and all the unglamorous but fun stuff camping can give. all of that, without chipping! one of my dearest friends also loved it, so we were sporting matching manicures :)

formula and applications are typically without issues, drying time is about 20 minutes.

zoya - liberty (pixie dust)

vreme je za još jedan zoya pixie dust lak, ovaj put je to predivna liberty iz letnje kolekcije.!

it's time for another zoya pixie dust polish, this time, gorgeous liberty from the summer collection.

malo je falilo da propustim ovaj lak. mislila sam da mi je opi get your number dovoljan plavi teksturac, ali sam videla liberty na noktima jedne lakoholičarke (hvala, t.), i pošto je bila subota i nisam imala vremena da se vratim u ultrasun, a ona i a. su ionako išle tamo, zadužila sam ih da mi je ipak uzmu i konačno je dobila prošle nedelje.

zoya je opisuje kao plavi šećerni sjajni lak, što i jeste! nijansa je predivna srednje plava, sa srebrnkastim šimerom i predivnom teksturnom završnicom.  bilo bi mi žao da sam je propustila, jer stvarno izgleda fantastično, kao prava vilinska prašina. nisam bila kući kad sam ga slikala, tako da ovaj put nema slika s nadlakom ali ću ih dodati kad ga budem sledeći put nosila.

i almost missed this one. i thought that opi's get your number is enough for me in the blue texture range, but i saw it on the nails of a fellow nail polish addict (tnx, t.) and since it was saturday and i had no time to return to ultrasun, i gave her and a. money to buy it for me, and it finally came to my hands last week.

zoya describes it as a blue sugary sparkle, which it really is! the shade is medium blue, just perfect, with silvery shimmer and the gorgeous textured finish. i would be really sorry if i missed it, because it really looks amazing. true pixie dust, if you ask me! i wasn't at home when i took the photos, so no pics with a top coat this time, but i'll add them next time i wear it.

opi - solitaire (bond girls collection)

prošlo je već dosta vremena od kad sam predstavila jinx iz opi bond girls liquid sand kolekcije, tako da je vreme za solitaire!
 

it's been a while since showed jinx from opi's bond girls liquid sand collection, so i guess it's time for solitaire!
opi's description: "this diamond-sparkling white is totally engaging."

stvarno sam želela beli lak sa teksturnom završnicom koji ipak ima malo "blinga" i solitaire je savršen!

bazna boja je nežna biserno-bela sa dobro odmerenom količnom srebrnih šljokica. formula i trajnost su istovetni kao kod drugih opi teksturaca (što znači-odlični). lak je potpuno suv posle 15ak minuta.

i really wanted a white textured polishes that had just a little bit of bling to it, and solitaire is perfect!

the base is soft, pearly white with just the right amount of silver flecks. it is as good as any other opi liquid sand in terms of application and wear (which means excellent). the polish is completely dry after about 15 min.

zoya vespa (pixie dust)

imala sam sreću da sam došla u beograd baš kad su pixie dust i ornate kolekcije stigle u ultrasun, ali sam imala samo par sati fore u subotu da ih uzmem, iako sam u bg-u na drugoj strani ulice od us! tako da, probudila sam se u 8 ujutro (iako se vikendom retko kad dižem pre 11), obukla na brzinu i rekla md-u "ok, vraćam se za par minuta, moram da  uzmem neke lakove" dok je on mrmljao da se normalne devojke bude rano da odu po hleb i mleko :D

krajnji rezultat ste videli ovde. imala sam wl mesecima, par sam znala da sigurno uzimam, dok su neki bili na možda. vespa je bila jedna od tih drugih, ali čim sam je videla, znala sam da je uzimam!

i was lucky enough that i came home just as pixie dust and ornate collections arrived to ultrasun in belgrade, but had only a couple of hours to get them, even though the shop is on the other side of the street! so, i woke up at 8 am (on weekends, i rarely get out of bed before 11), got dressed quickly and told my bf "ok, i'll be back in a minute, i have to go get some polishes"  while he murmured that normal girls get up that early for bread and milk :D

the end result was shown in this post. i had a wl for months, with a few of them being sure deal and a few "maybe". vespa was on a maybe, but as soon as i saw the bottle, i knew i will have to buy her!

od svih tipova teksturnih lakova, zoyina pisxie dust mi je omiljena! vespa je prvi koji sam probala, a oni je opisuju kao mint šećerka. nijansa je pastelna svetla zelena, poput žalfije, sa finim srebrnim šećerastim šljokicama. finiš je tako poseban a boja nekako vintage, sve u svemu, ljubav!

vespa je malo ređa, pa sam nakon normalnog prvog sloja stavila deblji drugi. na jednom noktu desne ruke sam dodala i treći, ali pošto nije bilo značajne razlike, odustala sam. iako u zoyi ne preporučuju korišćenje baze uz ove lakove, ja ipak imam moj dragi opi start to finish.

from all types of textured polishes, zoya's pixie dust is my favorite. vespa is the first one i tried, and they describe it as "mint kiss with a sugared sparkle". the shade is pastel, light sage green, with fine silver sugary glitter. the finish is so refined and the color looks vintage and, bottom line, i'm in love!

it is a bit shear, so after a normal first layer, i added a thicker second. i tried a third one on one nail on my right hand, but it looked pretty much the same so i decided to finish with two. even though they recommend skipping the base coat, i have my dear opi start to finish.

opi - stay the night (mariah carey collection)

mislim da je pravo vreme za još jedan opi liquid san lak, i posle can't let go, red je došao na stay the night.

i think it's time for another opi's liquid sand polish, and after can't let go, i decided on stay the night.

za mene je kombinacija crne i crvene uvek odlična. crna kremasta baza počinje da se suši sa nešto više sjaja nego can't let go, tako da je, i nakon što se osuši u teksturastu mat strukturu, za nijansu sjajniji. sviđa mi se kako crvenkasto-roze šljokice proviruju iz baze!

na dnu su slike sa dodatim nadlakom, i iako mi je i tako lep, interesantniji mi je bez.

opi's description: "make it last in this matte black with red glints".

the black and red combo is, at least to me, always a winner. the creme black base starts drying in a more glossy style than can't let go, so in the and, after drying to a texture matte finish, it is a bit shinier. i love the way the red-pink shimmer sneaks up from the base!

at the bottom of the page you can see the polish with the top coat. even though i find it interesting, i prefer it without.

opi can't let go (mariah carey)

postojala je potpuna konfuzija po pitanju toga kad će, kod koga i da li će uopšte opi mariah carey kolekcija stići u srbiju. u jednom trenutku sam postala prilično nestrpljiva, i naručila mini liquid sand set preko ebay-a. čekala sam skoro dva meseca da stignu, u jednom trenutku sam čak i zaboravila na njih, pa su se samo pojavili ispred mojih vrata.

there was a complete mess regarding the information about the arrival of opi's  mariah carey collection to serbia; at one point it was said that we'll never get it. that's when i got impatient and ordered liquid sand minis from ebay, and waited almost 2 months for them to appear at my doorstep. i almost forgot all about them, and there they were!

iz nekog razloga, can't let go je bio prvi kog sam poželela da namažem. zamislite da je malo više ljubičast i malo manje plav. ovo je prava srednje ljubičasta, obogaćen ljubičastim šestougaonim šljokicama. moram da kažem da mi se sviđa liquid sand finiš. treba mu oko 15 minuta da se potpuno osuši, i prijatno sam iznenađena formulom, iako su u pitanju mini lakovi, a bilo je i lako namazati ga.

na dnu su slike sa dodatim nadlakom, i iako mi je i tako lep, interesantniji mi je bez.

for some reason, can't let go was the first one i wanted to try. imagine it a bit more purple and a bit less blue, a true medium purple, with an occasional purple hexagonal glitter. i must say, i am a fan of the liquid sand finish. it takes about 15 minutes to dry completely, and i was pleasantly surprised with the formula, even though it' s a mini, it was very easy to apply it.
