danas pokazujem još jedan lak iz picture polish kolaboracije sa blogerima, autumn.

autumn je osislila alena sa the polishing life bloga, i to je lak kakvog sam uvek želela u kolekciji: narandžasta boja srednjeg tona sa rasejanim holo česticama.

iako je generalno žele, formula je bogata i odlično pokriva. lak je živ, ali ne i drečav, tako da je za mene definitivno idealan.

prirodna svetlost:

autumn was created with alena behind the polishing life blog. the shade is something i wished for a long time: a medium orange with scattered holo particles.

even though it is jelly, the formula is rich and consistent. it is vibrant, but not crazy. definitely a perfect polish for me!

essence chilled orange (soul sista)

chilled orange je deo moje omiljene essence kolekcije, soul sista, još iz proleća 2012.

chilled orange was a part of my favourite essence limited edition collection, soul sista, back in the spring of 2012.

mislim da mi je ova kolekcija toliko draga zato što je izgledala baš sveže (mojito green mi je i dalje jedan od omiljenih lakova). i chilled orange je baš takav, živ i topao.

volim ove narandžasto/žute crelly lakove koje volim da zovem mango nijansama. jedini razlog što ga tek sad pokazujem je taj što takvi lakovi obično imaju nezgodnu formulu. u stvari, ovo je jedini razlog za ovoliku zadršku, svaki put kad sam ga nosila, nadala sam se da ću ga sledeči put bolje namazati. tri sloja su zaista neophodana da bi se sve lepo izjednačilo, ali je krajnji rezultat divan.

i really loved soul sista collection (mojito green is one of my fav shades) because it looked really fresh. chilled orange is just like that, warm and lively.

i like this orange/yellow crelly polishes that i like to call mango shades. the only reason i am showing it right now is because they are usually the ones with a complicated formula. actually, this is the only reason i am showing it with such a delay, every time i've worn it, i hoped that i'll apply it better next time. three coats are really necessary in order to even it out. nevertheless, the end result looks good.

ysl ambre gingembre (spicy)

konačno sam uspela ulovim ysl kolekciju spicy za proleće 2014, i moj prvi izbor je 42 ambre gingerbre.

i finally got my hands on ysl limited edition collection spicy for spring 2014, and my first choice is 42 ambre gingembre.

moram da priznam, ova kolekcija nije za svakoga. iako ne vidim zašto je planirana za proleće jer je meni savršeno jesenja, boje su mi prosto savršene!

ambre gingembre je baš onakva narandžasta kakvu sam čekala. oduvek sam htela ovako toplu, tamno narandžastu nijansu, skoro ciglastu a opet tamniju. ovo je krema savršene formule, što mi je već i potpuno očekivano od ysl lakova. drago mi je što ga konačno imam!

prirodna svetlost:

i have to admit, this collection is not for everyone. while i don't see why is it aimed for spring because, for me, it's so autumny, i simply adore the colours.

ambre gingembre is just the type of orange i was waiting for. i really wanted a kind of warm, dark orange shade, close to those brick-type colours, but still a bit darker. of course, it is a perfect-formula creme, as it can be expected from ysl. i am so glad i finally own it!

zoya beatrix (pixie dust summer)

beatrix is from the summer edition of zoya's pixie dust polishes. as usual, their description couldn't be more accurate: "tangerine metal sparkle in the exclusive zoya pixie dust textured, matte, foil twinkle formula".

i love everything about this polish, especially how the gold shimmer sparkles in this amazing vibrant orange base. i wore it three times this summer, the last time i took it to a 5 day festival, wore it the whole time, including the tent setting and all the unglamorous but fun stuff camping can give. all of that, without chipping! one of my dearest friends also loved it, so we were sporting matching manicures :)

formula and applications are typically without issues, drying time is about 20 minutes.

za početak, moram da objasnim moje odsustvo u poslednje dve nedelje (odmor i festivalčenje), i biće još nepravilnosti u mom regularnom rasporedu postovanja u sledećih par nedelja (još festivala i selidba na bliski istok), ali očekujem da se vratim na standardno početkom septembra.

jamaican out je deo osnovne china glaze kolekcije, tako da bi trebalo lako da se nalazi.

first of all, i'll explain my absence in the last 2 weeks (vacation and festivals), and there will be more irregularities in my posting pattern in the next few weeks (festival and moving to middle east), so hopefully, i'll be back on track in septemeber. now, on to the polish.


jamaican out is a part of china glaze core collection, so it should be easy to find.

ovo je jedan od lakova kog sam uzela isključivo zbog imena (obrazac je jasan kad spomenem jamaican me crazy :D), ali inače ga smatram prilično odvratnim.

kada sam pregledala slike, bila sam iznenađena koliko bolje izgleda na njima nego uživo. dok sam ga nosila, na meni je izgledao kao da sam stara gospođa i unosio mi je nervozu. boja je čudna za opisivanje, u zavisnosti od osvetljenja i vašeg prirodnog tona kože, može da povuče na narandžasto, koralno ili crveno. zlatkasti šimer je taj koji mi najviše smera. formula je standradno ok.

možda bi sad izgledao bolje na meni, pošto sam prilično pocrnela, ali zimi nema šanse da ga nosim.

this is one of the polishes i got solely because of the name (see the pattern with jamaica me crazy :D), but i otherwise find it to be quite hideous.

when i went through the pics, i was surprised that it looks much better than in real life. when i was wearing it, i felt like an old lady and was quite nervous. the color is weird to describe, depending on the lightning, and your own skin tone, it can be more red, coral and orange. the goldish shimmer is what i think is the problem, though. formula is standardly ok.


it may look a bit better on me, now that i'm quite tanned, but i would dread to wear it in the winter.

ysl - orange afrique

moja zaljubljenost u ysl lakove se nastavlja, a ovaj put opsednuta lakom orange afrique!

my complete love for ysl nailpolishes continues! this time, i'm obsessing about orange afrique!

ovaj lak sam dugo tražila, pošto mi je falila prava i intenzivna narandžasta nijansa i orange afrique je ispunio sve moje želje. intenzivan je, ali ne na neonski način, i iako je jelly, formula je i više nego neverovatna i maže se kao puter! i završnica me je oborila sa nogu, izgleda baš sjajno iako nemam nadlak.

rešila sam da namažem tri sloja. pošto je jelly, možete da vidite moj čudni prirodni oblik noktiju: na sredini ivice nokta su isturpijani na par mm, a sa strane izgleda kao da imam po dva ogromna bela trougla, da bih mogla da održavam četvrtast oblik. na početku moje opsesije lakovima sam imala ovaj smešni, prirodni oblik ali mi se više sviđa sada.

nešto se čudno dogodilo sa prikazom boja na ovim slikama. nijansa u bočici je identična tome kako lak izgleda uživo, a ta boja je takođe identična boji na noktima. nekakvo čudno prelamanje svetlosti je učinilo da na slikama, nijansa na noktima izgleda crvenije.

i've been searching for this polish for a while now, since i really wanted a bright, vibrant orange shade and this one fulfilled all of my wishes. it is intense but not in a neon-y kind of way, and even though it's jelly, the formula is beyond amazing and it applies like butter! and shine, look at that shine, and i'm not wearing a top coat!

i decided to do three layers this time. since it is a jelly, you can see how weirdly shaped my nails are: at the middle of the nailline,  i filed at to just a mm or two, but on sides i't like i have two giant triangles in order to keep the shape rectangular. at the beginning of my nail polish obsession, i had this funny natural shape, but now i prefer it this way.

there's something weird going on with the color in the photos. the shade in the bottle is pretty much how it looks like in real life, and it is identical to the color on the nails, but some weird light refraction makes the nails look redder.

dior delice 433 (sparkling shine)

da, nisam mogla da odolim tako da sam uzela i delice iz Dior Addict Gloss Le Vernis kolekcije. diablotine me je već oduševio, pa nisam mogla da odolim da uzmem poslednju bočicu delice u parfimeriji. ovde pada kiša već tri dana, ali nisam više mogla da čekam da ga probam, pa iako su boje na slikama verne, moguće da ću ih zameniti kada ga budem nosila na sunčanom danu.

yup, i succumbed and got delice from Dior Addict Gloss Le Vernis collection. i was so impressed by diablotine, and just couldn't miss the opportunity to get the last one at my regular drugstore. it's been raining for the last three days but i couldn't wait to try it. even though the colors are faithful, i may exchange these photos once i make them on a more sunny day.

delice je moj prvi skok u koralce. dok diablotine naginje ka crvenom delu koralnog spektra, delice ide ka narandžastom. boja je vrlo živahna, sa roze, breskvastim i srebrnim šimerom. mislim da je ovo savršen lak za sunčane letnje dane.

formula je stvarno odlična, bez ikakvih problema pri mazanju i zamalo je jednoslojac. ponovo, kao kod diablotine, sam po sebi nema neki visoki sjaj, tako da preporučujem nadlak.

prirodna svetlost:

delice is my first jump into the coral shades. while diablotine leans toward the red part of the coral spectrum, delice goes to the orange. it's a very vibrant color, with pink, peach and silver shimmer. it's a perfect shade for those sunny summer days.

formula was top notch,  no problems with the application and it's practically a one-coater. again, as in the case of diablotine, it doesn't have a high shine on its on, so the top coat is recommended.

moj prvi lak nakon pauze je take the stage. ispalo je sasvim slučajno da je i moj prethodni opi post bio iz burlesque kolekcije za praznike 2010. našla sam ga u korpici za 500 din na sajmu kozmetike, tako da se nadam da sad mogu da precrtam deutch ya want me, baby sa liste želja..

my first polish after a few weeks break is take the stage. this happened randomly, but my last opi post was also from the burlesque collection for 2010 holidays. it was in the less than 5€ basket in belgrade cosmetics fair, and now i only hope that this means i can cross deutch ya want me, baby from wl.

možda ste već primetili da baš volim ove zagorela pomoranža-bakarne šimere, iako je najveći deo komentara posle postova o njima kako vam ovakve nijanse baš i ne leže. da budem potpuno iskrena, nisam ubeđena da ove boje na meni stoje spektakularno, ali ih ipak obožavam.


ovaj lepotan ima neki unutrašnji sjaj, i kada je izložen direktnom suncu, zlatni mikrošimer baš dolazi do izražaja. formula je malo ređa nego obično, ali ništa što bi bilo problematično.

koristila sam bazu (opi start to finish) + dva sloja laka + top coat (essence better than gel nails top sealer fast dry).

you may have noticed, but i am a big fan of those burnt orange, coppery shimmers, even though the majority of the comments after those posts is about how they're not really the reader's cup of tea. to be perfectly honest, i'm not sure that these polishes look particularly good on me, but i love them nonetheless

this baby has an amazing glow to it, and when it's under the direct light, the golden microshimmer looks really sparkly. the formula is a bit thin, though, but noting unmanageable.

i used base (opi start to finish) + two layers of polish + top coat (essence better than gel nails top sealer fast dry).

catrice rusty but sexy 560 je moj tip narandžastog laka sa šimerom.

catrice rusty but sexy 560 is my type of orange shimmery polish!

rusty but sexy je, kao što mu ime kaže, rđkasti narandžasti lak metalik završnice (negde sam pročitala da bi tačniji opis boje bio "zagorela narandžasta"). ima zlatkasti svetlucavi šimer kada je direktno ispod izvora svetlosti.

spada u onu grupu "skoro jednoslojaca". dok se maže, ostaju blago vidljivi potezi četkice, ali ima formulu zbog koje se samoizjednačuje, tako da je sve kako treba posle par sekundi.

prirodna svetlost:

rusty but sexy is a rusty orange (i read somewhere that the more accurate description would be "burnt orange") metallic polish. it has golden sparkles when it's under direct light.

it is in the group of those "almost one-coaters" and it tends to leave visible brushstrokes while applying it, but the formula is self-leveling so it's all nice and even after a few seconds.

ruffian: essence be optimistic and catrice king of greens

ovo je moj prvi pokušaj ruffiana, koji mi je dugo bio u glavi, i to baš u ovoj narandžasto-zelenoj kombinaciji. pre par dana sam opet nosila essence be optimistic! (pošto je na listi za odstrel), pa je to bila dobra prilika da mu dodam catrice king of greens.

this was my first attempt at ruffian mani ever. i wanted to do it for a while, with this green-orange color combo in my head, and finally made myself do it couple of day ago, when i was wearing essence be optimistic! again. green is catrice's king of greens.

essence be optimistic! (colour&go 64)

64 be optimistic! je jedan od mojih retkih preostalih essence color&go lakova, i to je ovo druga bočica koju koristim.

one of my last remaining essence color & go polishes is 64 be optimistic! this is actually my second bottle of this polish.

ovo je prilično pigmentovana narandžasta koja naginje ka bronzi, sa zlatnim šimerom. formula nije jedna od essence-ovih najboljih, prilično je gusta i iako je jedan sloj sasvim dovoljan za potpunu pokrivenost, drugi je neophodan da bi se umanjili vidljivi potezi četkice. ipak, očigledno da mi to ne smeta preterano pošto završavam i drugu bočicu.

it is a highly opaque orange leaning on bronze shade with golden shimmer. formula is not their best, it is quite thick, enough coverage to be a one coater, but the second is needed to even out the brushstrokes. nevertheless, i obviously liked it enough to get the second bottle after i finish the first, and even this one is on it's way to be emptied.

predstavljam još jedan lak iz nove catrice kolekcije, ovaj put je to 870 copper cabana.

here comes another new catrice polish, this time 870 copper cabana.

i ovaj put, formula je bila malo komplikovana i pregusta. ponovo, ovo nije nikakav problem kog kap ili dva razređivača ne mogu da srede, ali nisam mogla da ih dodajem na pamet, dok ga ne probam u originalnoj verziji. i opet boja vadi stvar. obožavam ovakve rđave, rustične boje pa sam se zaljubila i ovu tamno narandžastu. finiš najviše vuče na metalik.

once again, the formula is a bit tricky and thick. again, this is nothing that a drop of two of thinner wouldn't solve, but i had to try the polish in it's original form first. but, the color is a beautiful dark orange. i love these rusty looking shades. i would say that the finish is metallic.

essence 46 wake up!

u prethodnom postu sam pisala o sličnosti essence wake up! sa opijevim good man-darin...a sada ću se koncentrisati samo na wu!
nažalost, moj planirani boravak kući je trajao 5 umesto dva dana (nažalost zbog razgloga zbog kog sam morala da ostanem) a sa sobom sam imala samo ovaj lak. flašica je već bila skoro prazna, i kad sam ga prvi put mazala, lak se već bio zgusnuo dovoljno da se teško mazao, a ni ja nisam bila dovoljno strpljiva i sve se završilo sa gomilom mehurića. drugi put sam se više koncentrisala, ali, pošto nisam imala nikakav razređivač, sve je bilo prilično mučno ali ipak bolje nego prvi put. nisam zadovoljna slikama, ali sam rešila da ih ipak okačim jer sam konačno ugledala dno neke bočice i ovaj lak više neću moći da mažem.

unfortunately, my visit home lasted 5 days instead of 2 (unfortunately because of the reason i had to prolong my stay), and i had only this polish with me, and the bottle was almost empty. it was already too thick to handle it properly, so the first time i applied it, i wasn't patient enough and it was too hot at my place, so i had a lot of bubbles. the second time, i was more careful, but the polish was even thicker and i had no thinner so it applied horribly, but i have to publish the pictures, because i finally saw the bottom of the bottle and it was my last chance to take pictures.

comparison: opi good man-darin is hard to find vs essence wake up!

kada sam postovala o GMIHTF opi-ju ovde,  spomenula sam kako retko nosim ovakve boje i kako nisu baš česte u mojoj kolekciji. onda, kada sam namazala essence-ov WU!, opisan ovde, shvatila sam koliko su ova dva laka u stvari slična. naravno, morala sam da napravim poređenje.

i wrote about opi's GMIHTF here where i mentioned how little of these colors i own. then, when i wore essence's WU! (described here), i realized how similar the two actually are. so, naturally, i did a comparison.

leva sličica je sa blicem, druga je na prirodnom svetlu. i generalno, kao što će se videti na ostalim slikama, u prirodi je WU! za par nijansi intenzivniji i sa paradajzičasto-crvenim podtonom, dok je na veštaškom svetlu ta razlika mnogo manje primetna.

left image was made with flash, while the right one is on natural light. in general, as you will see in the next few pictures, in natural light WU! is brighter and has a slight tomato red undertone, while this difference is toned down in artificial light.

china glaze sun worshiper je iz njihove neon pool side kolekcije, i moj prvi neon ikad. bilo je malo problema oko nanošenja, ali nije bilo toliko strašno koliko sam se plašila. ne mogu da prestanem da gledam u nokte, ali ne znam da li sam oduševljena ili zgađena :). ovo je moj izbor za tematski petak: neon.

sun worshiper from the china glaze's poolside collection is my first neon ever. the application wasn't the easiest, but it wasn't as hard as i expected. i can't stop looking at my nails, but i have problem deciding if i am amazed or repulsed by them :). also, this is my choice for theme friday, which is: neon!

 počela sam sa bazom (opi start to finish), jednim slojem maybelline mini colorama-french white i dva sloja SW, bez top coata da pokušam da uhvatim blago mat finiš. takođe se vide potezi četkice. nažalost, boju je teško uhvatiti i u prirodi je dosta intenzivnija i više narandžasta nego žuta.

i started with one base coat (opi start to finish), one layer of maybelline mini colorama-french white and two layers of SW, without a top coat in order to try and capture it's mostly matte finish. the brushstrokes are still quite visible. unfortunately, it is har do capture the real color, it is much more intense and more on the orangy side than yellow.

opi good man-darin is hard to find je iz hong kong kolekcije. boja je prelepa narandžasta sa mrvicom crvene i kremaste strukture, tako da nije prozračna i lepo se maže.

opi good man-darin is hard to find is from the hong kong collection. it is a beautiful orange with a hint of red. it is creme, so it is opaque enough with two layers.

može se reći da u mojoj kolekciji ima najmanje klasični, ženshih boja, ali te što imam su pažljivo izabrane. mogu uvek da nađem objašnjenje zašto mi treba još neka nijansa plave ili zelene, ali sam zato blagi daltonista kad su crvenkaste nijanse u pitanju. to sve pokazuje koliko volim ovaj lak :D

the smallest part of my collection are the classical, girly colours. i will always find a way to justify buying yet another blue or green shade, but i am a bit daltonistic when it comes to the reddish ones. i am satisfied if i have only a couple of these, so this shows how much i love this polish, since it got chosen to be the representative for bright, creme family.
