ysl blanc arty (street art)

while ysl is still my favourite nail polish brand, i have to sadly admit that my dream of having all of their polishes is disappearing: i missed on vandal orange, for example, from spring 2017 collection street art. but, i did snatch blanc arty.

i do love a good white nail polish, and blanc arty definitely falls in this category. although they tend to have unfriendly consistency, are prone to streaking and difficult to apply, they still look awesome on the nails. blanc arty is one of the best, if not the best, formula-wise.

ysl peace green (boho stone)

peace green is this heaven of a polish from last year's ysl boho stone collection.

i am crazy for polishes with iridescent shimmer. they catch my eye from a mile away, doesn't matter which shade. i don't know what is it about them that i find so mesmerizing, but i do. and peace green isn't just iridescent, it is, indeed, green.

well, to be more accurate, it is a light, aqua-type green, and the shimmer appears pink around the edges under appropriate light. for me it is a must-have must-have. formula is a bit on the thin side, but easy to work with.

i am finally showing one more recent ysl polish, fur green from this autumn's scandal collection. the other polish from this collection is vintage plum.

fur green is a truly gorgeous shade of green. one of these forest, muted green shades. although it's moodiness really is perfect for autumn, i can see myself wearing all the time because it works perfectly well with my wardrobe.

formula of these creme is amazing, as usual, and matched with (for me) perfect ysl brush, there is nothing to complain about.

veliki sam ljubitelj teksturnog finiša i potpuno sam oduševljena ovim lakom.

night escape je duboko plava nijansa koja se vrlo brzo suši  u teksturnu završnicu. bogat je neverovano svetlucavim šimerom, zbog kog me podseća na zvezdano nebo. nekako je istovremeno i elegantan i malo agresivniji. srećna sam da ga nisam propustila.

i am a big fan of the texture finish, and i am completely in love with this polish.

night escape is a deep blue polish that very quickly dries to a textured finish. it is rich with this amazing sparkly glitter, it reminds me of a starry night. it is somehow both elegant and edgy. i am very happy i haven't missed out on it.

prune minimale je jedan od prvih ysl lakova od kad su obnovili kolekciju 2012te.

prune minimale is one of the first (revamped) ysl nail polishes, back in 2012.

prune minimale je klasična vamp nijansa. boja je dosta tamna šljivasta sa jakim braon podtonom. po flašici biste pomislili da ima jak šimer, ali se ništa od toga ne prenosi na nokat, tako da ga ja više smatram kremom.

ovaj lak nema neki specijalni wow efekat, ali je ipak vrlo lep lak. formula je odlična i generalno sam zaljubljena u ysl četkicu, tako da, ako ste u potrazi za vamp lakom, ovo je definitivno dobar izbor.

prirodna svetlost:

prune minimale is a classical vampy shade. it's a quite dark plum that leans towards the brown spectrum. from the bottle, you would be mistaken to believe that it's full of shimmer, because virtually nothing transfers on the nail, so i labeled it as a creme.

there is nothing too special about it, but it is a really nice polish. formula is great and i am in love with the ysl brush, so if you are in a search for a vampy polish, it is definitely a good choice.

midnight nocturne je fantastična blurple nijansa sa plavom kao dominantnijom bojom. kao i svi lakovi iz ove kolekcije, i ovaj je pun prelepih zlatnih holo čestica.

lak je odlične formule, vrlo lak za mazanje i sve u svemu, prelep.

midnight nocturne is an awesome blue-dominating blurple holographic polish. like all of the polishes from this collection, it is filled with amazing gold holo particles.

the shade is amazingly saturated, easy to work with and overall gorgeous.

rose scabiosa je deo ysl dua za proleće 2014, zajedno sa lakom rouge pablo.

rose scabiosa was a part of ysl spring 2014 nail polish duo, together with rouge pablo.

ako ste bili na mom blogu više od jednom, znate da roze nije moja boja, sem ako je u pitanju ysl lak.

rose scabiosa je skoro barby roze, sa blagim lila podtonom koji ga, bar u mom slučaju, čine nosivijem. u pitanju je ysl krema, tako da, u pitanju je savršena formula.

if you were on my blog more than once, you know i don't gravitate towards pink polishes, unless if it is a ysl polish.

rose scabiosa is almost a bubblegum pink, with a slight lilac undertone that makes it more wearable in my case. it is a ysl creme, so, perfect formula and application.

najnovija ysl kolekcija, escape summer, sadrži dva laka i danas predstavljam savage pink.

obožavam i ysl kao brend i teksturne lakove generalno, tako da je ovo za mene definitivni pogodak. savage pink je više gold rose nego obična roze, pogotovo zbog finiša. jeste teksturac, ali sa dodatim finim holo šljokicama za efektniji izgled.

formula je odlična, uz malo pažnje lako može biti jednoslojac ali sam se ja odlučila za dva. stvarno sam oduševljena ovim lako,

i love both ysl as a brand and textured polishes in general, so this was a no miss for me. savage pink is more like a rose gold shade, especially because of the finish. it is a texture, but with added fine holographic glitter for a sparkier effect.

formula is great, with a bit of care you can go with one coat only, but i opted for two, it's gorgeous and sparkly and just perfect!

spicy je veoma zaniljiva ysl kolekcija iz proleća 2014. opulente cannelle je jedan od šest lakova iz ove kolekcije.

spicy was a very interesting collection from ysl back in spring 2014. opulente cannelle is one of the six polishes from this collection.

opulente cannelle je vrlo nezgodna nijansa za opisivanje. naučila sam da cannelle znači cimet na francuskom, i nekako mi ima smisla jer ima nekako cimetkast izgled.

nijansa je negde između srednje braon i onih prašnjavih roze boja. meni je nekako čudno lep, ali verujem da zavisi dosta od tona kože. formula je potpuno savršena.

opulente cannelle is very difficult shade to describe. i learned that cannelle actually means cinnamon in french, and it makes sense, it doeas have this cinnamony look.

the shade is somewhere between medium brown and those dusty rose colours. i find it strangley pretty, but i agree that it depends a lot on the skin tone. formula is impeccable.

do skora me apsolutno nisu zanimale ovakve "ženske" nijanse. kada sam postala opsednuta ysl lakovima, posebno četkicom koja je kao pravljena za mene, rešila sam da dam šansu takvim lakovima. moram da priznam da se nisam pokajala-

corail divin je živa, narandžasto-koralna boja savršene formule. baš lepa, čista i vesela nijansa.

for a long time, i really wasn't interested in those "girly" type of colours. maybe because i became obsessed with ysl polishes, especially their brush that is the brush of my dreams, i decided to give these shades a chance. i have to admit, i didn't regret it.

corail divin is a vivid, orange-y coral with an impeccable formula. it really is a nice, clean and joyful shade.

stalno ponavljam da roze nije moja boja, i to zaista jeste istina. mislim da nikada nisam posedovala ništa roze od odeće. ipak, u poslednje vreme, roze se nekako ušunjava na moje nokte i krivim ysl za to.

malo me je i sramota da kažem da baš volim ovaj lak. iako se može nazvati barbie pink, ne izgleda jeftino. uz plavi podton, izgleda živahno i nekako veselo. formula je besprekorna, i zaista ga preporučujem.

i keep saying that pink is not my colour, and it really is true. i never owned any clothes in pink. but it seems that this shade is creeping in on my nails, and ysl is to blame.

i am embarrassed to say that i really love this polish. it is essentially a barbie pink sort of shade, but it doesn't look cheap. it's blue toned, vivid and somehow cheerful, formula is impeccable, and i'm really recommending this one.

today i'm showing you ysl sepia 7e art polish from their collection for fall 2013, one of those shades i find perfect for autumn and winter.

uvek me oduševi kako ysl pravi ovakve nijanse. sepia 7e art je tamna nijansa koja podseća na crveno vino. uživo nije toliko tamna kao na slikama.

ovo je zaista duboka, vamp nijansa sa odličnom formulo. volim da nosim tamne lakove, ipak su oni bili početak mog lakoholizma.

i really love how ysl does these sorts of shades. it's a really dark shade that resembles red wine, slightly less dark than as it look in my pictures.

it is deep, vampy with an excellent formula. i love wearing dark polishes, they were the begging of my nailpolish wearing anyway.

vreme je za još jedan ysl lak, ovaj put taupe mauresque iz kolekcije za leto 2013.

stvarno volim ovaj lak. nijansa je negde između tamno blatnjave i čokoladno braon, baš nekako jestiva i nikada ne izgleda pretamno.

formula je, kao i obično, vrhunska i laka za mazanje.

i really love this shade. it is somewhere between dark taupe and chocolate brown. so delicious and never looks too dark.

formula is, as usual, top notch and easy to work with.

gris deco je jedan od mojih omiljenih ysl lakova, prosto očaravajuć!

nijansa je svetlo siva, koja izgleda delikatno i čisto. ima sasvim malo šimera, ne toliko vidljivog na noktu, samo da učini formulu jednostavnijom. i jeste odlična, baš onakva na kakvu me je ysl navikao.

 gris deco is one of my favourite ysl polishes. it is just stunning!

the colour is a pale grey, that looks so delicate and clean. it has a little bit of shimmer in it, not too visible on the nail, just making the formula going smoothly. and it is smooth, just as ysl spoiled me on.

ysl rouge dada (core 6)

vreme je za jednu klasičnu nijansu, ysl rouge dada iz osnovne kolekcije.

it's time for another classic shade, ysl rouge dada from the core collection.

boja ovog laka je vrlo čudna. u senci izgleda kako krvavo crvena. dok pod svetlom izgleda skoro ciklamasto. ovo se vidi i na slikama: nokat na malom prstu izgleda dosta tamnije jer je u ovom položaju najudaljeniji od svetla, iako svi nokti izgledaju isto uživo. (nosila sam ovaj lak tri puta, i ovaj efekat se uvek javljao).

formula je dobra, ali pošto je više crelly nego čista krema, potrebna su tri sloja za potpunu pokrivenost.

prirodna svetlost:

this polish's colour is really strange. in the shade it's one of those bloody reds, while it looks almost like a fuchsia in the light. this is also visible in the pictures: the pinky is always furthest from the light in this position, and it looks darker even though all the nails look the same in real life  (had this polish on 3 times already, and always had the same effect on pictures).

formula is really good, but it is more of a crelly than a creme, so it needs three coats for opacity.

danas pokazujem još jedan lak iz zsl spicy kolekcije, ovaj put safran sultan.

today i am showing another polish from ysl spicy collection, and the choice was safran sultan.

safran sultan je definitivno jedna od onih nijansi koju ili volite ili mrzite. zbog toga mi je bilo čudno da je baš on bio rasprodan kada sam uzela ovu kolekciju na jednom od putovanja. na sreću, kolega je uspeo da mi ulovi jednu bočicu.

nijansa je senfasta i definitivno neobična. meni se baš sviđa, ali mogu da razumem da sam tu u manjini. formula je standardno odlična.

prirodna svetlost:

safran sultan is definitely one of these love or hate shades, so i was shocked that this was the only one that was sold out when i picked this collection up on a trip. luckily, a coworker managed to find me a bottle at an airport.

the shade is mustardy and definitely unusual. i honestly love it, but i can understand if it's not everyone's cup of tea. formula is typically amazing.

danas pokazujem još jedan lak iz ysl kolekcije spicy koja je izašla prošlog proleća, eau de rose.

today, i am showing another polish from ysl's collection spicy from last spring, eau de rose.

u ovoj kolekciji su se našli neki prelepi lakovi. dok sam imala neke jasne (još neobjavljene) favorite, i neočekivano oduševljenje lepim ali klasičnim piment d'ailleurs, moram a priznam da mi je eau de rose ukrao srce.

obično ne padam na ovakve breskvaso rozikaste nijanse, ali mi ovaj nekako odgovara. formula je savršena i i dalje ne mogu da verujem koliko mi se sviđa ovaj lak.

prirodna svetlost:

this collection gave us some gorgeous polishes. while i had some clear (not yet posted) favourites, and an unexpected crush on a pretty classical piment d'ailleurs, i have to say that eau de rose stole my heart.

i don't usually fall for these peachy rose shades, this one somehow suits me well. formula is impeccable, and i still can't get over how much i like this polish.

ysl bleu cyclades (bleus lumiere 2014)

bleu cyclades je deo prošlogodišnjeg letnjeg ysl dua, bleus lumiere.

bleu cyclades was a part of ysl's last year's summer collection bleus lumiere.

jedna od najboljih karakteristika bleu cyclades, koja je drugačija od dior tuxedo, ysl bleu cobalt i sličnih, je da nije pretaman. nijansa plave je negde između kraljevske i mornarske, ali nikad crna. šimer je bogat i prelep.

formula je ponovo fantastična i ne ostavlja fleke, tako da ga potpuno preporučujem!

prirodna svetlost:

one of the best things about bleu cyclades, that is different than dior tuxedo, ysl bleu cobalt and similar, is that it's not too dark. the shade of blue is somewhere between royal blue and navy, but never black. the shimmer is rich and gorgeous.

again, formula is amazing and there is no staining, so, total recommendation.

ove slike su nastale pre više meseci, tako da je vreme da ih konačno predstavim, u pitanju je ysl rose abstrait.

these pictures were made a while ago, so it's time to put them out in the open. this pretty thing is ysl's rose abstrait.

ovo je jednostavan lak koji se ne izdvaja preterano, ali kada ga jednom namažete, lako ga je zavoleti. rose abstrait daje noktima prirodan, mlečno roze, sveži izgled.

u poslednje vreme sam u nude raspoloženju, i ovaj je divan!

oblačno vreme:

it is a simple polish, doesn't stand out much from the crowd, but once you have it on, it's easy to love it. it gives the nails natural, rosy, milky look that just makes them look fresh.

i am into nudish shades lately, and this one is just perfect.

overcast:

ysl jaune babouche (summer 2015)

jedan od mojih najnovijih lakova je jaune babouche iz ovogodišnje ysl letnje kolekcije.

one of my newest polishes is jaune babouche from ysl latest summer collection.

obožavam žute lakove, pogotovo kad imaju i mango podton poput ovog. lak je pravo osveženje za mene, boja kakvu sam dugo išćekivala i od svih žutaća koje imam, formula mu je definitivno najsuperiornija.

nemam niti jednu zamerku na ovaj lak, tako da vas ostavljam sa slikama, uz komentar da ja ysl još jednom napravio pun pogodak!

prirodna svetlost:

i love yellows, especially when they have a mango underone, like this one. this polish is a breath of fresh air for me, the shade is absolutely breathtaking and out of all the yellows i have, the formula on it is far superior to any other.

there is nothing bad that i could say about this polish, so i'm leaving you with the pictures and the comment that ysl did it again!
