picture polish glitch (opulence)

glitch came as an update to picture polish opulence shades in 2015.

it is a kind of christmas-y emerald green jelly, with holo flakies that picture polish is known for. it is slightly lighter in colour than in my pictures, but not by much.

it dries smoothly and has good coverage, despite the jellyness. 

picture polish lime light (neon shades)

i am not so much into neons, but i have a soft spot for greens, so i had to take picture polish lime light from their revamped neon shades collection.

lime lite originally appeared in 2013, but got a rebirth in 2016. and i am happy for that! it is an awesome, bright green. formula is very decent for this type of polish, the first coat is a bit sheer but it builds up nicely. there are no bold spots or visible brushstrokes. 

it is such a great summer/beach polish and i got it just in time, before the summer ends!

picture polish mermaid (collaboration shade)

this august has been busy so i wasn't as regular here as i wanted, but i will try to be more consistent. for today, i chose one of the newest picture polish collaboration shades, mermaid. it was made together with hungarian online shope, nailland.hu.

when a polish is called mermaid, it has to be awesome! mermaid is a blue jelly base filled with hex glitter and scattering holo effect. it is very very pretty. dries a bit gritty, but one layer of a top coat was enough for a smooth finish.

picture polish mossy (collaboration shade)

picture polish mossy is one of the newer collaboration shades, this one with russian instagram blogger  @sasshhaaaa.

mossy is definitely my type of shade: a deep (mossy :)) green crelly, with very dense gold holographic flecks. it is such a stunner, so excuse the overwhelming amount of photos, it's just that it looks awesome both in direct sunlight and in shade.

formula is flawless, so definitely thumbs up from me.

picture polish alice (collaboration shade)

alice is yet another picture polish collaboration shade, this one with rainbow connection stocklist from last year. i guess it should resemble the colour of alice's dress from the alice in wonderland cartoon.

it is a gorgeous, fun, vivid blue crelly filled with my favourite: silver holographic glass flecks. i somehow forgot to order this polish when it first came out, and finally made it right. 

the formula is nice, it dries smoothly and is such a fun and quirky polish.

picture polish sky (light shades)

one of my rare 2017 purchases (for now) is actually an ancient picture polish shade, sky, from their light shades collection in 2007.

it is a really special light blue pastel, really resembles the sky but in its a bit murkier mood. the formula is nice, especially for an old pastel, but it needs three coats. nevertheless, they run smoothly so i don't see it as a bother.

picture polish free (special edition)

today i am showing you a special edition picture polish, free, that is so far my favourite polish of 2017.

if you live in australia, you get this polish for free (hence the name) with your purchase. luckily, us non-australians can still buy it regularly. and this polish is truly divine! it has a duochrome effect, shifting from teal to blue, with awesome holo shimmer. 

the formula is awesome, it simply flows. i couldn't stop looking at my nails, so i am posting a bit more photos than usual, because it is truly a chameleon. i took pictures under direct sunlight, slight overcast and in shade, and it is stunning in every condition,

picture polish honey dew (limited edition)

spring is here, and it's time for fresh shades. honey dew is a really old picture polish shade from 2009.

i am very happy i own honey dew, even though i am on the verge of having too many mint polishes (if that is even possible!)

honey dew is such a vibrant pastel mint, on the verge of becoming neon. on top of being gorgeous, it has a great formula, especially for a pastel polish. definitely a perfect spring/summer shade!

i used base (china glaze strong adhesion) + two layers of polish + top coat (essence btgnts).

picture polish winter (winter 2015)

danas pokazujem lak iz picture polish kolekcije za prošlu zimu, nazvan winter.

today i am showing a polish from last winter's picture polish collection, and it's called winter!

mnogo mi je smešno kad gledam zaostale postove iz moje prethodne zemlje pre selidbe, kad sam konstatno imala taman ten, u kontrastu sa imenom ovog laka.

winter je prelepa nijansa srednje sive, kombinovan sa jednim od mojih omiljenih finiša. holo ljuspicama. lak je za mazanje i savršen za sezonu džempera!

i find it so funny to look at my swatches made in my previous country of residence, since i was constantly so tanned, in contrast with the name of this polish!

winter is a gorgeous shade of medium grey, combined with one of my favourite finishes: holographic flakies. it is very easy to work with and it's perfect for sweater weather!

vreme je tako oblačno i sumorno da sam morala da objavim jedan veseo lak, a sun flower je svakako takav. nastao je u saradnji picture polish sa ruskom blogerkom de briz.

the weather is so cloudy and gloomy, that i had to pull out a fun one, and sun flower for sure is fun. it was made by picture polish with collaboration with russian blogger de briz.

sun flower je izašao u leto 2016 zajedno da salt water, i zaista su dobar par jer imaju iste holo ljuspice, što je jedan od mojih omiljenih efekata u lakovima za nokte.

nijansa je vrlo zanimljiva žuta, zaista poput suncokreta. formula je više crelly nego krema, i izgleda odlično. znam da ovaj lak neće svakom biti po ukusu, ali po mom svakako jeste!

sun flower was released in spring together with salt water, and they are really a good couple since they have the same holo flakey particles. these are one of my favourite effects in a nail polish.

the shade itself is a strange shade of yellow, really sunflower-like. the formula is more crelly than creme, and it looks gorgeous. i know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it sure is mine!

vreme je za još jednu picture polish kolaboraciju, ovaj put big bang, kreiran u saradnji sa la npa mouton.

it's time for another picture polish collaboration shade, this time big bang, created with la npa mouton.

big bang je kompleksni lepotan! nijansa je blurple sa nešto jačim plavim tonom, i raznobojnim šljokicama. i zaista mislim raznobojnim, jer nema boje koja se ne pojavljuje. lak je dubok, bogat i kompleksan, pravo savršenstvo.

formula je odlična, pokriva u dva sloja i jedan je od mojih omiljenijih novijih pp lakova. na žalost, moje slike ne dočaravaju potpuno njegovu lepotu.

big bang is such a complex beauty! the shade is blue leaning blurple, with multicoloured, and i mean multicoloured because i can see pretty much everything, glitter. it is deep, rich, complex, in one word, a stunner!

formula is awesome, opaque in two coats, and one of my favourite recent pp shades. my pictures, sadly, don't do it justice.

imam neočekivanu blogersku pauzu jer je moj laptop vrlo kulturno odlučio da umre, dajući mi nadu da može biti spasen i it odsek još pokušava da to i uradi. danas sam rešila da ipak prekinem pauzu, i mislim da je salt water, lak nastao u saradnji picture polish i nailstorming, savršen za tu svrhu.

i am having an unexpected blogging break, since my laptop politely decided to die, with giving me hope that it actually might survive and the it department is still working on it. today i decided to post something nevertheless, and i think that salt water, a collaboration shade of picture polish with nailstorming, is perfect for this.

promo slika ovog laka je deleko od verne. rekla bih da su tirkizne/svetlo plave i mint nijanse nešto što u picture polish svetu prave savršeno i uvek se svakim lakom oduševim, pa ni salt water nije bio izuzetak.

u pitanju je prelepa tirkizna, ispunjena holo šesticama koje su skoro kao ljuspice. to mi je omiljeni dodatak nijansama, i mislim da savršeno idu uz ovakvu tirkiznu nijansu. definitivno preporučujem ovaj lak.

the promo pictures of this polish don't do it justice. i believe that turquoise/light blue/mint shades are really something that picture polish people know how to make and i am always looking forward to a new one, and salt water is no exception.

it's a lovely shade of turquoise, filled with those holo particles that almost look like flakies. i am obsessed with those, and i think that they are complementing the turquoise shade beautifully. i highly recommend this one!

ova nijansa je prosto fantastična. prava živahna i bistra mint plava sa malčice više zelene nego što moje slike pokazuju, izgleda da je ovo jedna od onih nijansi koje izgledaju drugačije na različitoj vrsti tena, ali na meni je baš mint plav.

formula je odlična, mlečna krema koja se savršeno maže, prosto vrišti proleće i sunce!

this shade is pure awesomeness! it is a bright, vivid minty blue with a tad more green tone than in my photos. it seems to be one of those shades that look differently on different skin tones, but this is how it looks on mine.

it is a perfect, milky creme with perfect application. it simply screams spring and sun!

paradise je jedan od prvih picture polish blogerskih saradnji, napravljen po ideji liquid jelly.

paradise is one of the first collaboration shades by picture polish, this one with liquid jelly.

paradise je vrlo jedinstven i neobičan lak. bazna boja je plava sa primesama petrolej, uz blagi duohrom efekat, koje se može videti na slikama u seci. dodajte na to prelepe ljubičaste šljokice i roze holo čestice, i dobijate nešto posebno.

iako slike možda daju drugačiji utisak, suši se glatko. teško je uhvatiti sve njegove aspekte, ali je zaista prelep lak.

paradise is a very unique and special polish. the base colour is a teal leaning blue, with some duochrome effect as well, as you can see in the shade. add to that various gorgeous purple regular glitter and pink holo glitter, and you have a winner.

also, it doesn't dry gritty, as pictures may suggest. it is hard to capture the true effect, but it is an awesome polish.

pomalo mi je smešno da tek sada predstavljam moj prvi picture polish lak, mallard.

it is so funny that  i am only now posting about my first picture polish shade, mallard.

kada sam prvi put primetila picture polish lakove, bilo je to zbog njihovih kolaboracijskih lakova sa poznatim blogerkama, i od svih njih, mallard i pshiit su me najviše oborili s nogu.

mallard je napravljen u saradnji s the polishaholic blogom. ona je napisala da je mallard sve šta je želela u laku, i ja se u potpunosti slažem. ovaj lak je sve: tamno zelena baza sa zlatnim šimerom i narandžastim i zelenim ljuspicama.

ovo je jedan od onih lakova koji uvek izgleda mnogo bolje uživo nego na slikama, što je razlog zbog čega mi je trebalo toliko dugo da ga pokažem. potpuni lepotan!

when i first took notice of picture polish, it was mostly because of the collaboration shades with bloggers, and out of all of these gorgeousness-es, mallard and pshiiit caught my eyes instantly.

mallard was made in collaboration with the polishaholic. she wrote that this shade has everything she wants in a polish, and i completely agree. it is everything: a deep green base, with gold shimmer and orange and green flakies.

this is one of those polishes that always looks better in real life than in pictures, which is why it took me so long to show it off. it is a true stunner!

danas je vrlo poseban dan, kao što ću pojasniti dalje u tekstu, pa sam rešila da pišem o laku magic, koji je nastao u kolaboraciji picture polish sa lakkomlakkom.

this day is a very special day, as i will explain later in the text, so i decided to write about magic, picture polish collaboration shade with lakkomlakkom.

današnji dan ću pamtiti po neverovatnom otkriću zbog kog sam skakala od sreće (iako prolazim kroz loš period), bila na ivici suza i imala blagu aritmiju pre nego što se ozvaničilo. kao doktora fizike, otkriće gravitacionih talasa me je učinilo srećnom da živim u ovoj epohi. potpuno magičan, neverovatan događaj!

zato sam odlučila da pišem o laku koji se poklapa sa mojim trenutnim raspoloženjem: magic! ovo je vrlo jedinstven i kompleksan lak. duohrom, koji se menja iz roze zlata do bež, sa holo šimerom koji izgleda kao da pluta na površini nokta. čarobno! slike u senci pokazuju kompleksnost duohrom izgleda.

today marked an amazing achievement that made me jump from joy (even though i am going to a ruff period lately), being on the verge of crying and having small arrhythmia before the announcement. being a doctor of physics, i am so happy to live in the time where the gravitational waves were detected! what an amazing moment!

so, i chose the polish with the name that matches my emotional state: magic! it is a very unique and complex polish. duochrome, switching from  rose gold to a sort of beige shade, with holographic shimmer that looks like it's floating on top of the nails. stunning! the pictures in the shade show the true nature of the duochrome complexity.

vreme je za još jednu picture polish kolaboraciju i izabrala sam escapades kog je osmislila malene sa nail escapades bloga.

it's time for  another picture polish collaboration shade, and i chose escapades created with the idea of malene from nail escapdes blog.

znala sam da ovom laku neću odoleti, jer obožavam petrolej boju na noktima. escapades je veoma tamna petrolej nijansa, ali definitivno ne izgleda crno.

iako je jelly, odlično je pigmentovan uz dodatak holo čestica koje zaista dobro izgledaju uz baznu boju. formula je odlična i sjajno se maže. definitivno preporuka za ovaj lak.

i knew  that i can't miss this one, because i love having teal on my nails. escapades is a really dark teal, but still far from black.

it is a highly saturated jelly, with amazing holo particles that really fit well with the dark teal. formula is great, it really flows nicely. i highly recommend this polish.

nijansa je prelepa zelena koja podseća na morsku penu, puna srebrnkastih ljuspica i pomalo holo šimera. formula je prilično  dobra. sve u svemu, simpatičan lak.

the shade itself is a very delicate and beautiful seafoam green, packed with silvery glass flecks and a bit of scattered holo particles. formula was also nice. all in all, a really cute polish.

obožavam picture polish lakove iz saradnje s blogerkama, i danas predstavljam freya's cats po ideji nihrida-e.

i love picture polish collaboration shade, and today is the time for freya's cats made together with nihrida.

nikad mi nije dosta plavih holo lakova, i nisam mogla da preskočim freya's cats.

plava nijansa je ovde skoro električna,  i iako je jelly, ima dobru pokrivenost sa sva sloja. holo efekat je rasejan i čestice su guste i daju odlian efekat.

the blue in this one is almost electric, and even though it's jelly, it has good coverage with two coats. the holo particles are of the scattered type, dense and give a really good effect.

pandora je zaista prelepa. nijansa je tamnija ljubičasta sa fantastičnim rasejanim holo česticama koje je čine vrlo živom.

formula je odlična, potpuna pokrivenost se dobija sa dva sloja i suši se glatko i bez nadlaka.
