ysl bleu cyclades (bleus lumiere 2014)

bleu cyclades je deo prošlogodišnjeg letnjeg ysl dua, bleus lumiere.

bleu cyclades was a part of ysl's last year's summer collection bleus lumiere.

jedna od najboljih karakteristika bleu cyclades, koja je drugačija od dior tuxedo, ysl bleu cobalt i sličnih, je da nije pretaman. nijansa plave je negde između kraljevske i mornarske, ali nikad crna. šimer je bogat i prelep.

formula je ponovo fantastična i ne ostavlja fleke, tako da ga potpuno preporučujem!

prirodna svetlost:

one of the best things about bleu cyclades, that is different than dior tuxedo, ysl bleu cobalt and similar, is that it's not too dark. the shade of blue is somewhere between royal blue and navy, but never black. the shimmer is rich and gorgeous.

again, formula is amazing and there is no staining, so, total recommendation.

mislim da ysl duo za ovu jesen nije dobio dovoljno pažnje koju mislim da zaslužuje, moguće zbog toga što je pomama za teksturnom završnicom u opadanju. ipak, bleu galuchat je stvarno poseban lak.

i think that ysl duo for this fall didn't get as much attention as i think it deserves, maybe because the texture finish craze is at a decline, but i am seriously in love with bleu galuchat.

iako je teksturac, efekat u bleu galuchat je ipak dosta suptilniji, i daje mu nekako izgled kože. bazna boja je skoro pa teget, uz vrlo malo petrolej šimera koji je vidljiviji u bočici.

lak se do teksturnog finiša suši prilično brzo, i krajnji rezultat je prelep. iako poseduje klasičnu eleganciju kao taman lak, tekstura mu daje jedinstvenost koja ipak nije previše ekstravagantna.

prirodna svetlost:

even though that bleu galuchat is textured, it is a much subtler finish, giving a completely leathery look. the base colour is almost navy blue, and there is some barely visible teal shimmer.

it dries to this texture pretty quickly, and the end result is really beautiful. while it has the quality of having that classical edge of darker polishes, the texture gives it uniqueness that is still not too extravagant.

trenutni tematski petak je posvećen našem aura brendu. imam samo tri njihova laka, kultni on the edge, techno i punk kog ću sada predstaviti. sva tri laka su prilično jedinstvena i prelepa.

this theme friday is dedicated to one serbian brand called aura. i have only three aura polishes, the cult one on the edge, techno and punk, that i'm wearing now. all three polishes i have are very unique and beautiful.

punk je bio deo prošlogodišnje praznične party time kolekcije, zajedno sa lakovim jazz, techno i hip hop. nažalost, nigde ne mogu da nađem promo sliku.

punk je, kao što mu i dolikuje, prelep i jedinstven lak. bazna boja je teget, puna svetloplavog i tirkiznog šimera koji mu daje posebnost i dubinu. nosila sam ga nekoliko puta, i svaki put sam se iznenadila koliko je fantastičan. formula i četkica nisu problematični.

punk was a part of the last year's holiday collection called party time, together with techno, jazz and hip hop. unfortunately, i can't find a promo pic anywhere.

punk, as it should be, is so unique and beautiful. the base color is navy blue, but it is filled with sparkling light blue and turquoise shimmer that really gives it depth. i wore quite a few times, and every time i get surprised how stunning it looks. the formula and brush were nice to work with.

comparison: essence blue addicted vs essence cold breeze (over essie midnight cami)

u mom poslednjem postu, spomenula sam da je moja bočica essence blue addicted potrošena :( od kad sam kupila njihov nadlak cool breeze, imala sam ideju da, uz odgovarajuću baznu boju, može da se dobije sličan efekat. odlučila sam da ga namažem preko essie midnight cami, pa da vidimo rezultat.

in my last post, i mentioned that my bottle of essence blue addicted is finished :( and, ever since i got their cool breeze topper, i had an idea that, with a proper base color, it could make a similar effect. i chose to wear it over essie midnight cami, so let's see what i got.

na svim slikama, blue addicted je na kažiprstu i srednjem prstu, a kombinacija cool breeze + midnight cami na srednjem i malom.

može se primetiti da cool breeze nema sitne svetloplave šljokice, već žute slične veličine. velike šestougaone oplaescentne šljokice su iste u oba laka.


tako da, ova kombinacija nije baš identična sa blue addicted, ali se može reći da liči. naravno, prisutan je i problem očigledne razlike između šljokičavog nadlaka i šljokičavog laka na površini nokta,

in all the pictures, blue addicted is on the index and ring finger, and the cool breeze + midnight cami combo on the middle and little finger.

as you can see, cool breeze doesn't have the small light blue glitter, but some yellow glitter of similar size. the large hexagonal opalescence ones are the same in both polishes.

so, bottom line, it's not really a dupe to blue addicted, but it kind of looks like it. and, of course, there's always that issue that you can always see, from the surface, if it is a topper or a glittery polish.

22. theme friday: navy blue

prođe i 22gi tematski petak, koji je kao temu imao teget boju. učestvovala sam sa dior tuxedo. od sutra pa do sledećeg četvrtka je tema srebrno!

the 22nd theme friday, with navy blue as the theme, hass passed. i participated with dior tuxedo. the next theme is silver!

dior 908 tuxedo

tuxedo was a part of dior's blue tie collection for autumn 2011, so it is now a bit of a problem, although not impossible, to find it. the other two polishes are safari beige and blue denim.

the color is maybe not the most unique one in the nail polish world, but nevertheless, it is stunning. it is a deep navy blue with lighter blue shimmer, and on the egdes and under artificial lighting, it even gets a hint of a deep violet. whatever the light is, it never looks black.

when i was considering whether to get this polish, i read that there were complaints about the formula being too thick. i didn't have those problems, it is thick, but easy to work with, without streaks and completely opaque after one coat. i did the second one this time, as a force of habit and for the pictures, but i will definitely go with one coat in the future.

essie midnite cami from cuddle with color collection is my first essie ever. 

dobila sam ga na poklon od jedne drage lakoholičarke, koja očigledno zna koje boje volim, pošto je izabrala ovu prelepu duboku teget nijansu!

četkica je slična china glaze, tj. tanka. ja više volim šire četkice, ali pošto je formula solidna, nije mi pravila veći problem. šimer nije preterano izražen, vidi se samo na jakoj svetlosti.

prirodna svetlost:

i got it as a gift from one of my wonderful nail polish addict friends. she obviously knows me color preferences well, since she chose the color that is desribed as "a shimmering deep twilight blue".

the brush is similar to the china glaze's, or should i say, thin :) i prefer wider brushes, but the formula is good so i had little problems. shimmer is quite discreet and visible only in strong light.
